My dermatologist's office had a special of buy two get one free, so I bought 3 boxes. It's about 4 weeks now, and I'm really happy with the lashes that are growing in. To save some money, they recommended that I squeeze one drop into the little bottle cap, then apply the liquid with a soft little brush (I use a small watercolor brush, but an eyeliner brush will work as well). One drop is enough for both upper and both lower lashes, then I use what's left to touch up my inner and outer eyebrow thin spots. I'm not having any side efeects, and am usually pretty sensitive. It's just so cool to see the definition improve while using less and less mascara. Updated on 11 Feb 2011: After many months of using Latisse, my eyes became very sensitive to it. Lids would get very red and stinging, so I quit. Within a few months, the length of my lashes is gone. The thickness as well, thought they are still thicker than they used to be. Wish I could use the stuff again. Updated on 10 May 2011: To Michelle: No, he said there was no alternative. Dang.
Folds and lines around the mouth respond best to fillers rather than botox. Botox works best to inhibit muscle action. The lines around the eyes will respond nicely to botox. In some situations fillers can be used for very deep lines that are not completely improved by botox.
