At our office we use, SculpSure, the most advanced technology in fat reduction via lasers. SculpSure was FDA approved in May 2015 and it is the ONLY FDA approved fat reduction treatment via thermo lipolysis, in which the laser heats the skin to kill the fat cells. Yes this is part of the procedure. The product will gather in the area in which it has been injected in and will remain there for about 2-4 weeks while it is being degraded. By the 4th week it should be completely gone. If you still experience a larger chin area you should be re-examined by your treating physician. Kybella generally needs about 3 treatments to be effective. After the 3rd and final treatment, it will be a total of 12 weeks until you see the final results. SO all in all you are going to be at least 6 months out before final results from the first injection. I encourage you to continue with the treatments and wait. It does work and it does provide the results your are looking for. You must be patient and go through the entire process for total results.  

Yes you are correct, 4 applicators to the targeted area are more effective than just 2. What we have found in our office when treating the abdomen area, using the 4 applicators to one side of the belly button and then 4 to the other side is far more effective than using two. SculpSure is used to treat the fat in a targeted area and when you widen the area that you are targeting it will give you a large area in which the fat is removed. We also let our patients know that it typically takes multiple, usually a minimum of 2 treatments in that targeted area to achieve desired results. Not only does it target 24% in a given area, we have actually seen the surrounding area, about 35% also affected with fat loss. Please also note that a proper diet and active lifestyle are key.
