Cellfina is meant to be a one time in office procedure, that lasts 2+years. All of our patients are very happy after the one treatment and have never had to come in for another. There are about 2 weeks of "downtime" associated with this and is important to follow after care instructions for best results.
I've been using a variety of Fraxel lasers for about seven years and have not seen any significant or lasting negative side effects. Conversely, in experienced hands, results are consistently excellent and down time is limited. Pain, if any , is usually mild. I mostly use the Fraxel Dual, but a milder version by the same manufacturer is the "Clear and Brilliant" device. I recommend making sure the treatment is performed by an experienced doctor, nurse, nurse-practioner, or PA in a cosmetically oriented dermatology office or plastic surgeon office.
Thanks for the questions, which bring up some common concerns.Certainly Botox can lift and arch the brows to some degree when properly injected. Also, Ultherapy (a noninvasive ultrasound based treatment) can give significant brow elevation for a longer period without any down time. Fillers such as Radiesse or Sculptra, or Voluma in the temples, outer upper brow and mid and outer cheeks can lift brows and give a more balanced, rounded appearance to the face. A good cosmetic Dermatologist can address these issues over a few treatments
