It appears that you developed postinflammatory hyperpigmentation due to perhaps irritant effects of veet and other remedies you used. With your skin type it is very important to avoid anything that causes irritation and making sure that none of the topicals you use cause any contact allergies. Anything that causes inflammation and redness eventually darkens your skin. So the less you do the better is for you. Mild peels with glycolic acid, retionic acid and hydroquinone may help. Also if there is inflammation (redness or itching) you can try very mild steroid or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory agents that are prescribed such as tacrolimus. One of my favorite topical that has both anti-inflammatory and skin brightening effect is aceleic acid. You can try Glytone Enhande Brightening Compex that has both azeleic acid and glycolic acid. Time and gentle care will be on your side.
