Dr. Kpodzo changed my life! I am now JanH 4.0 as I've had 3 plastic surgeries by her (4 body parts). I wouldn't go to anyone else! She is very knowledgeable and bed side manners are outstanding!! She takes her time with patients and is the "Follow Up Queen Doctor" (And I say that with ultimate respect! That is a compliment! She doesn't just take your money and run.) She makes sure all is progressing smoothly.

She lifted my breast in 2019. (JanH 2.0)

She did a brachioplasty (arm lift) in 2020. (JanH 3.0)

Then 5 weeks ago she did my tummy tuck and thigh lift. (JanH 4.0).

I love the fact that to control pain she uses Exparel and then 2 weeks of gabapentin (along with pain medicine- that you hardly even need).

I also have Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (a connective tissue disorder that makes skin sag after it's been stretched.) She knows how to work with my unique skin disorder.

I can't thank her enough!

I got my breast reduction Sept 2020. Dr. Kpodzo did an amazing job, and if I ever had to get another one it would be through her! Wait times were a little long when I came to some of my follow up appointments, but I expected that. Also wish she could have spent a little more time with me, but I know doctors are busy. She was very kind and personable when she was with me. Surgery went great, and my healing went great as well. Didn't even end up taking the hard narcotics at all. Even though insurance (United health care) Covered a good portion, I still ended up coming out of pocket about $2500.

I had a breast reduction/lift with Dr. Dzifa S. Kpodzo . I love my results! I went from a DD to an even D Cup I had my surgery done February 28, 2020. The incision from the breast lift looks great! I highly recommend her.

She is amazing. She did an arm lift and a re-did my tummy tuck from a previous surgeon. I had a lot of skin left from losing over 150 pounds. I needed a fleur de lis tummy tuck and was nervous about the scar and potential issues of having a 2nd tummy tuck. However, one year later I healed with no issues. My arms looks great and I wore a bikini for the first time in my life!

Just before I began to lose hope, I was given a divine intervention. I met Dr. Kpodzo at a Health Fair in October 2017. She began treating my keloids shortly there after. I cannot explain the difference her treatment has made in my quality of life. There was a significance difference after the first treatment. About nine months ago I decided to have breast reduction surgery because of the pain and discomfort (both physically and aesthetically) I was having from my large breasts. I've had a plastic surgery procedures done in the past but my former surgeon didn't accept my insurance. I reluctantly set out to find a new surgeon which was very stressful for me. I understand how important it is to not only have a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon, but one who knows his/her craft and knows how to deal with each patient individually based on their particular needs. I went to my insurance company's website and I was pretty much shooting in the dark.

I read reviews for several surgeons listed but, of the ones I read, I didn't feel like they were the right fit for me. I came across Dr. Kpodzo's name so I went on Google, of course, to do my "research". Well, although I was able to read her bio and educational/career background, I wasn't able to find any reviews from breast reduction patients or see pictures of her work. I am one who will read tons of reviews (both good and bad) to get a good idea of who I'm dealing with. And of course pictures, especially for plastic surgery, are definitely a must. Unfortunately, I was unable to find any reviews or pictures on Dr. Kpodzo.

However, contrary to all of that, once I spoke with a member of her staff I just had a good feeling about Dr. Kpodzo. I scheduled an appointment and went in for my consultation. She was amazing! She was very thorough, she explained everything to me, she was patient and answered all of my questions AND she showed me some before and after photos.

After getting approval from my insurance company, my surgery was scheduled. I went in the day of surgery and Dr. Kpodzo made sure that the hospital took care of me and she was very laser-focused on me and making sure everything was in place for a successful surgery.

Fast-forward a few hours later, everything went extremely well with the surgery. Despite my pre-planning and attempting to make adequate preparations post-surgery I didn't have anyone to take care of me at home. Dr. Kpodzo asked me several times and stressed the importance of having someone help me for at least the first few days so she probably would have made me postpone my surgery had she known I would be home alone immediately afterwards. But I didn't know myself.

Anywho, because of the amazing work she did, I had the most uneventful and fairly pain-free recovery of any procedure of the same magnitude that I've ever had. One of the reasons I had not considered getting a breast reduction in the past is because of all the stories I heard about pain and unpleasant lengthy healing process was. This was not my experience at all.

As I write this review, I am exactly 6 months post-surgery and my breast look amazing (but they pretty much looked just as amazing from about day 10...once the tape and all fell off)! My incisions are perfect and flat, I'm not experiencing any pain or tingling sensations, I can comfortably wear an underwire bra (and have since about 8 weeks post-surgery), I never lost any nipple sensation and I'm back in the bras I wore over 10 years ago (yeah, I still had them, they were expensive, don't judge me :). Dr. Kpodzo provided very detailed instructions about what I should and should not do and what to expect at different intervals during the healing process.

I am so very happy that I chose Dr. Kpodzo. She did an absolutely amazing job! This surgery changed my whole body (and life). My friends and family are surprised when I tell them I had a breast reduction because they couldn't tell that my breast were as large as they were. I guess they made my whole body look fluffier (lol). Dr. Kpodzo removed 2 pounds of fat and tissue and I went from an I cup (6Ds) to a F cup (2Ds). I now receive tons of surprised reactions saying that I've lost weight because of the complete transformation I've experienced from my surgery. ALL of my tops, blazers and coats fit me perfectly now...which is exciting because I LOVE blazers!

Having a breast reduction was one of the best decisions of my life and choosing Dr. Kpodzo to perform the surgery was another great decision.

I would recommend her to anyone because she is a great surgeon and if you allow her, she will also be a great friend. Dr. Kpodzo and her team work toward excellence. They have all made my reconstruction journey easier.

Has helped answer my reconstruction questions and informed me how to get a good result and reconstruction has answered my phone calls when I was concern thank you for being a doctor to help breast cancer patients like myself .

Dr Kpodzo was an amazing surgeon. My initial consultation was through and detailed she took time to get to know me and what my expectations were for my surgery. The day of my surgery she took time to talk with my and mother about all my concerns and care. My surgery was phenomenal. My recovery was quick and my results looked natural, but with dramatic results. I couldn't have asked for a better experience and I have referred her to my family and friends. I will be a patient for life
