I've been seeing Dr. Chester for almost 20 years now. She's a consummate professional, always made me feel comfortable and welcome. Her primary provider staff have maintained incredible stability in her practice over the years which says a lot about her. She recently performed ThermiVa on me and was just super at making an otherwise awkward procedure seem nothing more significant than a routine pap. I don't trust snyone but her for my feminine health care.
Both procedures are painless and cause similar effect in the vagina. THERMiva allows for treatment with the outside labia area, whereas MonaLisa does not. Our practice decided on THERMiva because it has NO re-usable components reducing the risk of infection. THERMiva can also be offered at a much lower price point than laser (as the laser equipment was nearly 2x the cost of THERMiva equipment). We have been very pleased with our decision as every patient has been over the moon with the experience, treatment, and success with THERMiva.
