He was my doctor for over 40 years. I am now 85 and I look like 65. He is perhaps the finest plastic surgeon I could have ever had. Dr. Wood-Smith did face lifts for me, fixed Dry eye, I do not need drops, repaired my face after Mohs surgery, and did Fraxel Laser. In fact I probably have the fattest file in his office, and the oldest.. I personally wish he had not retired, I need a slight tuck and I can't bring myself to use another doctor. I guess I will just have to grow old now, unless he decides to come out of retirement.

I went to see Dr. Wood-Smith for a rhinoplasty. I love my new nose! He is a genius. Great bedside manner. He is very careful not to give an unnatural look. My nose now looks more refined, but natural. I was very nervous that I would end up with a ski slope or very fake looking nose, but no one would ever guess that I had work done.

I had a deviated septum, needed volumization of cheeks, and better projection of chin. He performed a septoplasty on me without doing an xray or cat-skan. He completely failed to address the posterior septum which was the primary source of my breathing problem. Additionally, he damaged my nose by collapsing my valve because of removing too much cartilage and caused a tunnelled nose and deep alar grooves. He did a face lift on me which resulted in severe scars around my ears, and he left my ear lobe detached from my face. After the surgery, he refused to give me pain medication, refused to help removed the blood from my ears, and was condescending and arrogant beyond belief. Too bad he wasn't that way before I paid him. Only now I have found out the truth about him after getting very involved in the New York plastic surgery community. He's 76 years old, and I'm told he was a good surgeon 30 years ago.
