I had rhinoplasty with Dr. Pinar on January 14, and now almost 5 weeks post-op, I can confidently say that I made the right choice. Choosing a surgeon was not a decision I took lightly- I spent a year and a half researching (joining A LOT of whatsapp groups on rhinoplasty, talking to former patients etc) and comparing different surgeons before finally deciding on Pinar. From the very first consultation I could tell that he truly cares about his patients. He was honest, kind, and never tried to upsell procedures I didn’t need. In fact, when I asked about getting a forehead reduction, he admitted it wasn’t his area of expertise and referred me to a trusted colleague instead. That level of honesty and responsibility really stood out to me. I won’t sugarcoat it—getting in touch with his assistant in the beginning was difficult and I know that can be frustrating. At one point, I even reconsidered whether I should go with him. But once I had my in-person consultation, all my doubts disappeared. I knew immediately that I was in the hands of someone who genuinely cares about his patients and their results. As for my nose, I have thick skin, so I know my final result will take longer to show. Right now my nose is still very swollen, and I’m nowhere near the final outcome, but even at this stage the results so far have exceeded my expectations. Dr. Pinar has a great eye for facial harmony; he customizes each procedure to suit the patient’s unique features rather than following a one-size-fits-all approach. His work is natural yet transformative, which is exactly what I was looking for. If I had to do it all over again, I wouldn’t hesitate to choose Dr. Pinar. In fact, I’m already waiting for him to be available for other procedures because I don’t think I could trust another surgeon as much as I trust him. Highly recommend! (Before & after pictures attached—keep in mind that this is still early in my healing process!)
I did so much research and am SO SO happy I went with Dogan Pinar. I joined a group chat of girls who had all gone to him and couldn't find anyone who wasn't happy with their results. My nose is PERFECT and he did exactly what I wanted! He doesn't just give everyone the same nose, he makes sure that it fits your face. Best decision I've ever made and worth every penny! If any of my loved ones wanted this procedure I wouldn't hesitate in recommending they go to Pinar.
Revision rhinoplasty is not an easy surgery and I knew I had to find the very best doctor to correct my botched nose and also fix my breathing. Dr Pinar is an ENT as well as a plastic surgeon, he doesn't advertise much but I actually found him on real self! I then found his Instagram and I was truly amazed with the before and after results of his many, many, happy patients. When I was in Istanbul for consultation, I felt he was very kind, humble, seemed to be honest, and wasn't pushy or too eager for business like some of the other doctors. His mannerism was my deciding factor, it just felt right. The office was full of patients from all over the world, which made me realize he is sought after. Everyone from his assistants to his nurse was also so very kind. After I had my surgery, I literally had no pain, and no bruising whatsoever, and I usually don't believe everything I read on the reviews but they were right! I'm only a month and a half out now and all I can say is OMG I can finally breathe and I'm already ecstatic with my results!
Had a great experience with this doctor for rhinoplasty - I’m writing this short review as when I was researching dr dogan Pinar I couldn’t find much information which can be off putting. Over all great experience and the results were amazing , better than I thought that they could do for me as my nose was quite thick skinned. I hardly bruised after and I am currently in my 4th month post op . The only down fall I would say is that I had to pay for a nostril retainer which I thought should have been included in the price for the surgery - it was around 50 euros. I also lost this on the day my plane left as it’s very slippy with the constantly cleaning and barrier cream to help the scabbing. Didn’t offer to send me one but sent me a link to a website and didn’t really follow up after however as my nose has been perfect / had no issues, this wasn’t an issue to me.
I had my experience with Dr Pinar. Im Almost 1 year post op and Im so happy with my result. I had big bump and big tip. The team are so kind and helpful. Advise: sleep and stay only upright position the first weeks:))))
I’m 6 months post op now, you can follow my rhinoplasty page @rhinoplastydogan or my main page to see day to day updates @ashleyherrnandez. I joined a WhatsApp group before booking with pinar and it helped me feel really comfortable with the idea of going to him because literally none of the hundreds of girls in that group had anything bad to say about him. Their noses all came out amazing and he’s definitely super experienced and talented. The hospital is very clean, mine had two rooms and two showers. It was huge. The food was not that good to be honest, but there’s a bunch of food spots nearby and you can order with the Turkish food app or ask your partner/friend if they’d be willing to grab you some. The hospital is honestly nicer than the ones in Canada (I believe it’s a private hospital) if you want to search it up search up Florence nightingale hastensi Istanbul. The hospital is right across from his office, like literally right across. I could see his office from my room and if I wanted to go there I could just walk across the cross walk. The surgery isn’t painful at all, but I will say that it’s uncomfortable. When you have splints in your nose, the boogers won’t come out, they’ll just sit at the top of your nose in between your eyes and you’ll be swallowing and coughing up boogers for the first 3 days. Once the splints come out though it’s smooth sailing from there, you probably won’t bruise but you definitely will swell up. My swelling didn’t hit until the 2nd day but the third was the worst. It wasn’t painful though so don’t worry about that. Initially when I got my cast off I hated it, so does everyone realistically. My nose was fat, literally gigantic. I’ll add a picture too so you guys can see. I thought I had been botched but it was really just insane swelling. I had thick skin so my swelling was worse than thin skin patients. It took about a week for me to actually start really liking my nose though, even though it was fat asf still. The shape was amazing and he definitely gave me exactly what I wanted, Hes so attentive and sweet! Literally gives me cute nice uncle that always buys you gifts vibes. Their response times are garbage before you have your surgery, but after your surgery they respond so fast and melis ( his assistant) is very sweet and helpful. So don’t be discouraged if you don’t get a response too fast, she’s more focused on actual patients and meets up with you to do your covid test, and takes your payment, she takes your photos etc. And they do this every day for multiple different patients. So a wait time for them to respond is reasonable. Just be persistent. Their office is also very clean and modern, and if you’re scared about going to turkey don’t be. It’s a really nice place, and I think there’s such a misconception regarding turkey. Or other world countries in general asides from the states or Canada. It’s very cultural, men aren’t creepy at all they’re actually very respectful, taxis aren’t scary either, nobody really tried to scam me with the cabs because I had the bitaksi app. Food is amazing, and it’s very modern out there! So don’t be afraid. I flew back 8 days after my surgery and the flight home wasn’t bad or painful or anything. It was an 11 hour flight and the pressure didn’t do anything to my nose. Also the nurses at the hospital are great I forgot to mention that, they were so kind and used Google translate on their phones to speak to you or ask you questions and they come to check on you every 30 min -an hour during your entire stay (overnight as well). I would highly recommend him and he did an amazing job on my ethnic nose.
I decided to go with Dogan Pinar as I love 99 % of his work, he's an ENT specialist, did plenty of research of him and I was also part of a WhatsApp group that has had now 15 other people that had surgery with him and they were all happy. My sister also had a rhinoplasty with him. €4000 for a revision and €3000 for a primary. If you decide to go with him I did a four page document about my experience, advice & tips.
