My experience at Dr Schmidt's office has been amazing. He and his staff are very helpful and realistic with their approach and input. I have had vanquish treatments in his office and feel very happy with my results. I have had different areas done and plan on continuing if I need to. There is no down time, which is wonderful.
I had Artefill in nasal folds and in my chin and a little in my cheeks. I love that it's permanent. I also had juevederm around my mouth. I got bruises from Juvederm as well as Artefill because I bruise easy. It really made a dramatic difference and I have not had any issues with it at all. I was sad to learn the office I go to no longer uses it because of issues with it. I now have Botox in my chin and between my eyes and a little Belotero every 3-5 months to maintain. I look way younger then friends. Worth every cent. You can see what the Artefill did. Huge difference and it still looks the same!
I saw Amaris for my botox injections and i was very pleased with the results. She made me feel at ease and I barely felt any pain. My forehead is wrinkle free now ^__^. I also so Michelle for acne extractions and it did miracles for my skin. She helped clear out the deeper small acne bumps that would take forever to surface. My skin is looking a lot smoother now thanks to her.
I recently had the Therm Tight procedure with Dr Schmidt at North Sound Dermatology. I am very pleased with the results. The doctor was very thorough, put me at ease, minimal downtime and fabulous end results. I had lose, saggy skin on my chin and neck area. Had tried several other treatments that were unsuccessful. I Definately recommend Dr Schmidt and this procedure. Beautiful office, great staff!!! Thank you Dr Schmidt!!! Happy patient! MK
Well, this was my fourth mohs surgery. While this was not my favorite way to spend my morning, It was something that I needed to have done. The process was efficient and thorough due to the well trained, professional staff at the facility. Due to the very competent staff, I found myself feeling reassured with minimal stress/anxiety. My familiarity with the process/procedure also helped. A follow-up appointment was scheduled at that time and post-surgery information was provided. The surgeon (Dr. Schmidt) even telephoned me later that evening to see how I was doing! Excellent professional care.
Swelling is a good indication that fat has been targeted, and treatment was successful. Although Vanquish should not be painful, there are areas that can feel as if they have hot spots. If this should happen, it is important you let your provider know so that they can adjust the applicator and settings to your comfort.
I usually recommend maintenance treatments 9-12 months post Exilis or any skin tightening treatments. The reason for this is that every year we age. As women in their 40's and 50's start to lose fat, or facial volume they will notice more sagging, and wrinkling. If you have had weight loss over the last year, this could contribute to a more loose skin appearance. I would recommend getting one to two treatments per year to help maintain and improve firmness. You may also want to consult with your provider on dermal fillers such as Juvederm or Voluma to help with restoring loss of fat/volume.I hope this is helpful.
Botox generally takes 10-14 days to completely kick in. Changes will continue to occur up until this time. There is a good chance not enough time has elapsed for you to see the outcome of your injections. If the lines around the eyes and the puffiness of the under eyes does not improve after 10-14 days, it could be related to your injections. Botox injections to improve fine lines and wrinkles around the eyes (otherwise known as crows feet) require appropriate placement and dosing for softening and improving these lines. If a patient has existing laxity (loose skin) under the eyes, Botox can make this appear to be worse as the muscle is no longer able contract in that area.
No, Apo-Azithromycin Zpak will not affect hyaluronic acid lip filler. This being said, you want to make sure you do not have an active infection in the area being treated or a systemic (throughout the body) infection. You will want to make sure the provider who performs your injection takes a full medical history including current medications so they are able to ensure this is a safe procedure for you.
All three medications are absolutely safe to continue taking before your Juvederm injection. None of them will interfere with the injection process or the Juvederm itself.
