In 1997, I decided to go with Dr Ward after 5 years of continuous searching to find a plastic surgeon I was comfortable with. I began my search by making a list of places and calling them. The ones who put me on hold for longer than a few moments without getting back to me were eliminated. Also eliminated were those who spoke in medical terms that only someone in the medical profession would understand. The ones who answered my questions in a rush and those who were obviously having a bad day were also eliminated. The list changed each time I made my calls, sending the offices who passed my personal preferences to the next list. Another one of my preferences was the office staff would change, so when I'd ask to speak with the same person as the last time, if they were no longer there, and that happened over a few follow up calls, I'd eliminate that office. I made the calls about every 2-3 months, and when it got closer, I called Dr Wards office several times. So, in 1997 I had my first augmentation and I liked it. In fact, there wasn't anybody I met who didn't like it, and received many compliments from other women I'd meet in public because of the shape and how they looked on my frame. I was always surprised, but this is true. The second one was after my mother and sister had non-cancerous breast lumps removed, and, not knowing if they had the gene for it, I had mine replaced and made a bit larger. That was 6 years after the first one. I had those with zero issues for 16 years. Zero issues. 16 years. In June of this year, 2021, 3 months ago, he downsized those with a large C, and with follow up visits every month after my initial follow up visits shortly after surgery, they feel wonderful, the scarring has healed up beautifully due to his recommendation for that, and as the swelling has gone down completely now and they've dropped, I feel GREAT. Every time I put on my clothes, I have a feeling of relief, and I look the way I want both with and without my clothing. And that's the way it is!
Wonderful. I've been going to him for 15 years. I had 2 facelifts and many fillers. I'm 72 and I look great thanks to dr. ward, 5 star!! His staff are also very helpful with suggestions and reminding me when he has special deals I might be interested in.
I absolutely love Dr. Ward and his entire staff, they are so sweet. Dr. Ward takes his time and listens to all of your questions and concerns. My last treatment there I had a microdermabrasion and it felt wonderful and I couldn’t believe how dirty my pores were. I can’t say enough great this about this practice. I give it 10 Stars!!!
Being stuck in between whether or not to make a change in your appearance is tough. What i thought was even more difficult was the possibility of complications, lack of trust in a professional, fear of disliking the change, etc. The list is a long one. I went through a long time of being unsure of what to do, as lip filler would be my first step into anything. I had gone a long time not liking my lip size and shape. I read a lot about both sides on physical alterations, and i put off any action on it for a few years before i finally brought it up with my fiance. He is very against anything changing. He instantly thinks of the celebrities that take it way too far. So with that in mind, i called a few places just to see how i would feel about making an appointment. The first few offices i called were bigger offices, and the person on the other line did not impress me. After hearing that a doctor would not be the one i would be seeing for the filler appointment, i promptly lost interest in the office. It took a few more calls before i made an appointment with anyone. I ended up calling Florida Cosmetic Surgery Center with Dr. Ward. The person on the other line was fantastic. Like, the nicest and most likeable person. She still works there, and if you decide to call I'm sure you'll realize that they're all amazing. She calmed my nerves, and explained how they work before i made an appointment for the following week. The day i went in, i was still unsure whether i wanted to go through with it. I do a lot of research before i do anything, and after meeting Dr. Ward i was very happy to see that he, of course, could put my knowledge in the field to shame. After a long talk, i decided to go through with it. He gave me some numbing cream, i pretty much drooled on myself for half an hour, and they came in. I'm not great with anything getting close to my mouth, but it wasn't too painful. A few sharp pricks here and there. It's a weird feeling, and all of my nervousness made me sick afterward, but it was worth it. Now i have had it done several times since then. The date i put on the review was the most recent. Each time has been at the same place, with the same doctor, and i have never had a bad experience. I was never pressured into doing anything, and was actually talked out of several thoughts i had. He truly has the best interest of your personal look in mind. (I have had other things done there as well. All 5 stars.) If you're thinking about going through with fillers i works definitely recommend it. One thing to note is that, for me at least, this was not a super obvious change after the first one i did. It definitely made a difference, but it was a gradual build over time. The before and after in the pictures is after multiple injections. I look at it as an investment. It ended up not being a scary and forever changing experience. It was, however, something that i will never regret, and plan to continue throughout my life. It helped with all of the concerns i once had. I don't feel the need to go bigger, or do more or better. (This was a concern EVERYONE had for some reason.) I know when is enough or if something is too much. This isn't a button you can't go back on later. So if you're interested in starting something to start with, have your own personal reasons, or just want a casual change, i definitely recommend lip fillers with juvederm. I also 5 star reccomend Dr. Ward in Altamonte Springs FL. He has been amazing with everything i have done there.
I came to Dr. Ward with Breast implants done about 11 years ago by another Doctor who really messed my breast up. Dr. Ward was not only full of information but he made me feel super comfortable and informed. It has been about 7 weeks now since my surgery and I could not be happier with my decison. I recommend everyone go see him.
I had many consultations with several surgeons on the lip augmentation procedure (perma lip) also consulted with the surgeons about the marionette lines around my mouth, all the doctor's suggested juvaderm/radiesse or some type of fillers for the marionette lines, which I have used in the past & they made little to no improvement. Dr Ward was the only doctor who suggested botox in that area to relax the muscle, I thought to myself WTH why haven't any other doctors suggested this to me over the course of years seeking relief from the lines around my mouth, so the following day I went to Dr. Wards office, and for the 1st time used botox to diminish the marionette lines. Wow ! I was surprise it helped tremendously , with that being said, I decided to go with Dr. Ward as my surgeon for the LIp Implant surgery. Dr. Ward and his staff went above and beyond !! The staff made me feel at home and took their time to explain everything in detail. Dr. Ward did amazing job at going over the pre op and post op with me. The surgery was pain free and lasted about 45 minutes. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Ward at Florida cosmetic Surgery Center.
I went to Dr. Ward in 2012 and I was 20 years old. I remember him being patient, kind, friendly. I had a breast augmentation done and it came out phenomenal I am happy to this day. He also did one for my mother twenty years prior, which is why I went to him for mine. Great doctor.
Dr. Ward and his staff are knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and caring! My first experience was 17 years ago with breast augmentation. I was extremely happy with the results and still am! More recently, after years of abusing my skin, I returned to Dr. Ward for advice and treatment. After extensive discussion about treatment options, I am thrilled with my Upper and Lower eyelid surgery and laser treatment. Everyone involved made sure I was well informed and prepared. They make you feel like family and I wouldn't trust anyone else!
5 star.very happy with him, nice to talk to. and did a good job am in his book before and after.and plan on seeing him soon ,for face lift and more;am all the way from Iverness fl ,he has work on my two friends ,two of my friends got mess up really bad from another doctor and no one wanted to help fix them, but he step up and did help and did a good job and happy
I was in desperate need of a breast augmentation. I had recently lost a lot of weight and was embarrassed by the appearance of my breasts. I had a favorable outcome with my surgery. Dr. Ward is the best cosmetic surgeon in Central Florida! I also like the fact that his office has Obagi products for skin care needs and that he offers many different surgical procedures. Dr. Ward is very knowledgeable and he is at the cutting edge of procedures for all types of cosmetic concerns.
Your question is multifaceted and not really as straight forward as is appears. Dark circles have multiple causes, one of which may be due to the shadow effect of the tear troughs. Filling the depression to eliminate the trough is the object of using products like Belotero or other hyaluronic acid fillers. It will not, however, address other possible causes like hypertrophic orbicularis muscle or hyperpigmentation of the skin, etc. You state that you have had this "dissolved" twice. The medication used isn't stated but was probably a hyaluronidase, and depending on the type is generally effective immediately and would take you back to your pretreatment condition. You may, however, still have bruising and swelling from the injections that may take months to resolve.Belotero generally will last 6-9 months when injected in other areas, but it has been my experience using other types of hyaluronic acids in the tear trough area to last up to two years. This should not be an issue since you have had this "reversed". Since you have had good success with neuromodulators (botox), continue with that and perhaps add eye creams, a series of mild laser or chemical peel treatments.
While different types of fillers such as collagen and hyaluronic acid can be combined to fill out the deep and superficial skin irregularities, and are done so regularly, I cannot say with any degree of certainty if this is the case with "Agri form." I have been unable to find out what the basic compound of this filler consists of and therefore I would caution you to direct your inquiry to your previous injector.
Botox can effectively get rid of all the forehead line wrinkles caused by the frontalis muscle, but just because we are able to do so, doesn't mean we should. If the brow is already too low, then the forehead depressor muscles, Corrugators, Procerus, and Orbicularis Oculi muscles need to be addressed to balance the overactive frontalis muscle and thus elevate the brows. The entire frontalis muscle should not be treated, nor should you expect every wrinkle to be eliminated. To do so may cause further brow droop and the appearance of heavier eyelids. Just the opposite of your goal. An experienced cosmetic surgeon should be able to utilize his/her knowledge of anatomy to properly advise and treat you, and also be able to suggest if a browlift is necessary and when it should be done. There are multiple types of browlifts available as well, ranging from minimally invasive to full forehead lifts. I suggest a consultation to explain which option(s) are best for you.
Thank you for your question.Any type of filler injection, including the use of Juvederm, has the potential for inadvertent vascular injection. The fact that the skin immediately turned purple gives a high index of suspicion that this may have occurred, however, it may also be from compression of the vessels causing a stoppage of blood flow by the thickness of the medicine externally. If left untreated, the skin and area supplied by the involved vessel may become necrotic. If skin is involved, this may lead to bad scars. If retinal vessels are involved blindness could result. This is a true emergency situation and needs to be treated immediately. Direct heat, nitroglycerin paste, injection with hyaluronidase immediately are all indicated. The fact that you are reporting this and it was recognized some time later, indicates there may be adequate collateral circulation and it may resolve without incident, but may take some time. If discovered immediately or within the first few minutes, treatments are more likely to be successful in correcting or reversing the process. The same supportive treatments done later are less likely to be effective, or may resolve spontaneously. In any case, see your injector immediately and get expert advice and treatment.
Thank you for your question. All neuromuscular modulators (Botox, Xeomin, and Dysport) cause a permanent blockage of the release of the chemical that stimulates the muscle by the nerve. This turns out to be only temporary because new stimulating fibers from the nerve grow to the muscle and will again activate the muscle movement. This takes an average of about 4 months time. The skin does not develop more wrinkles or stretch during this time. While you may not have noticed wrinkles before the treatment, with good pretreatment photos I feel confident you would see them in the preop photos, and they in fact were improved with the medication. That would explain why you now see them or notice wrinkles and why you have noticed the improvement with treatment.
