QUESTIONS ANSWERED

Microneedling or IPL for spots and melasma?

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

If you have melasma IPL is not the way to go. Melasma is heat sensitive and the IPL can worsen the discoloration. Microneedling, chemical peels, or other types of laser treatments would be best. Also, applying a skin lightener and daily SPF 30 will be beneficial.

Can you have a mild chemical peel while using benzoyl peroxide and adapaline?

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

Chemical peels are a great procedure to aid in cellular renewal, decrease hyperpigmentation, re-surface the skin and clear congestion issues. To ensure adverse effects from occurring it is required to stop any topical exfoliating agents 7 days prior to your chemical peel procedure.
