Dean Alan Manus

I would trust Dr. Dean Manus with my life. He is honestly a plastic surgery genius. This is before and 1 hour post op. So swelling is significant and it should look even better over time. I’ve been wanting this forever. Even at my skinniest, I’d never have a defined jaw. I’ve always had a kind of double chin. Now it’s permanently gone. I’m elated.

I had heard great things about Dr. Manus (though I already had a great surgeon for other procedures - Dr. AJ Khalil), so I went to Dr. Manus for a BBL consultation after I had already consulted with Dr. Khalil to see the differences in the 2 doctors. I did not have a good experience. Dr. Manus seemed in a rush and I didn’t get my questions answered. He gave unrealistic promises about the procedure and recovery. He was in and out of the consultation with me in under 5 minutes and sent in his model receptionists to handle the rest of my consultation instead. It seemed very unprofessional and it was unsettling. His receptionists are lovely and kind, but for $500, I left disappointed and uncomfortable. I definitely wasn’t going to him for my BBL, but I still wanted to get my money’s worth for the $500 consultation fee, so I asked if I could put it towards lip filler and it was a firm NO from Dr. Manus. I have friends that have had good experiences with him, but based on my experience, I’d never recommend him. Dr. AJ Khalil in Beverly Hills has done my BBL, 2 breast augmentation surgeries 5 years apart, and all my fillers & botox. I highly recommend him to Dr. Manus.
