I was so nervous going to my consult today. I had questions, and concerns that Dr. Yonick answered very well. He listened to every concern and addressed them. I am very excited for the surgery in June. His staff is just as wonderful he is, felt like I had known them forever. As of now I am going with Sientra silicone moderate plus 625. However he is going to bring some lower cc's just in case and see how it goes. Updated on 17 May 2021: Getting very nervous, I have been gathering things I think I will need for the surgery. Tomorrow I have a urine test and then next week I will need to do a Covid test. Been trying to do some deep cleaning to make things easier on my husband for the week of recovery. I am hoping to post before pics soon. Eek!!! Updated on 27 May 2021: I am 5 days out and my nerves are killing me! But I am so excited to get it done so that way healing can begin. What are somethings you did to stay calm in the days leading to your BA? I have the next two days off and I am finish my preparations around the house so I have a nice calm and relaxing recovery. Hopefully that will help with my nervous! Updated on 29 May 2021: I have 3 days until the big day! I am so excited and the last few weeks have seem to be crawling. However, as the days are getting closer my nerves are so high, I am having bad dreams ??????. I am so excited for the outcome, but the surgery and recovery scare me a bit. I am still unsure about the size, but four sizes were ordered so I guess we will see how I wake up! Come on Tuesday June 1st Updated on 2 Jun 2021: surgery went very well yesterday. After changing over to the OR table I don’t remember anything until I woke for about 5 seconds. I had bad nausea all day yesterday. They finally gave me patch behind my ear, which has helped a ton. I am only staying awake for an hour or two and then I fall back asleep. I am super happy so far. Dr. Yonick did an amazing job. His staff was very helpful with all my questions. He came in shortly after I got there, wanted to we if I had in final questions or concerns and then drew on my chest. I would recommend him to anyone wanting to get a BA. To do it! He also has other services he offers. When I am feeling a bit better I will post some more pics. Updated on 3 Jun 2021: I am so happy with Dr. Yonick and his staff. They are all so friendly and we very courteous with all the question I had. Only think I she wold have be different was to be a little more personable. I would have like a call a few day before surgery to see about questions or concerns, and maybe even a call after surgery maybe the evening of surgery or even the next morning. I did get a call from the surgery center today which was nice. Over all I would recommend Dr. Yonick and his staff to anyone looking for any kinda of plastic surgery! I will be going back to get other things done for sure! Updated on 19 Jun 2021: It’s been almost 3 weeks now, the first two weeks were very interesting to say the least. I had a roller coaster of emotions. But by week two I was feeling more myself and getting more confident with my decision. I went to my two week appointment on Wednesday the 16th and they said they are healing really well. I got my scar cream and was told how to message them. They are still very tight and swelling they feel very weird to touch so my husband has been a great helper lol. I still wake up very stiff but after moving around that goes away. My left one has some side boob swelling and pain so ice the side here and there. My incisions are still really sore and bras don’t help at all. Super excited for all the pain and awkwardness to go away. I am very excited for the fluff and drop and to fully enjoy my new girls.
I myself have not had any work done by Dr. Yonick however, I’ve worked on my breast cancer survivors, tattooing the final touches for their areolas. So far I’ve been very pleased with his reconstructing of the mounds and nipples. And listening to my clients comments about him personally, they find him to be very kind and courteous. I have met his staff and I was impressed.
I was looking forward to my consultation, excited their might be a solution to my problem. I left feeling deflated. I basically felt the doctor was not only disinterested in helping me, but that he didnt even want to perform surgery for me. I was shocked that I basically had to force the issue of a 2nd appt to show what my tummy would look like after losing the 10 lbs of deep fat. I asked for any advice and all my options, and he actually refused to give me a quote. He did not believe I could lose the 10lbs. Even tho his office says he is a plastic and reconstructive surgeon, everything seemed to be geared towards skin care, even the paperwork is all about how you feel about your skin.
Coolsculpting works by delivering controlled cooling to destroy fat cells underneath the skin without harming any surrounding skin or tissue. The fat cells are crystalized and then die. Those fat cells are naturally eliminated within the next 3 days after treatment. Coolsculpting destroys about 20-25% Fat cells each time an applicator is applied on the targeted area. Multiple treatments may be required for the best result However Coolsculpting does not destroy visceral fat only subcutaneous fat, therefore not everyone is a candidate for this treatment. Therefore it is recommended to schedule a consultation with a coolsculpting specialist and it is important to have realistic expectations.
Coolsculpting delivers controlled cooling to permanently destroy fat cells that are targeted through treatment. Coolsculpting is not skin tightening as with cryolipolisis we are strictly targeting fat cells without harming surrounding skin and tissue. There are many surgical and non-surgical methods for treating skin laxity, such as SkinTyte.
Thank you for your question. One of the benefits of Coolsculping is that there is no downtime and you may return back to your regular activities. Staying active and maintaining a healthy lifestyle with regular exercise and diet is recommended for most optimal results. I would suggest finding a Certified Coolsculpting specialist near you to set up a consultation.
Thank you for the question. The choice of incision is based upon a discussion between you and your surgeon. Additional factors that go into the choice of the location of the incision are the unique anatomic considerations or your case and the surgeons comfort and preference of approach. That being said, most breast augmentation is approached through an infra-mammary incision. Which does not necessarily make it the correct approach for all situations. Much like it is hard to find one thing that all plastic surgeons will agree upon. This brings me back to my original point. The decision should be based upon a honest and open discussion between you and your surgeon establishing that rapport and trust.
It is difficult to truly evaluate your lip in the picture. However, to fix an injury from the dog bite, excision and repair of the lower lip injury may result in the quickest and best cosmetic result as the injury appears deep. Dog bite injuries to the lower lip may result in problems with drooling. This is especially common when injury to the underlying muscle of the lip occurs. This is common with dog bites.
