Not long ago I was told I could go to Dr. David Epstein office for a free evaluation and x-rays. To be honest, I had less than half my teeth left. I was in terrible pain, and I was having bad health issues, due to inflammation, and infections, in my gums. Today I am a VERY happy woman. Dr. E has put his heart and soul into getting my smile back to gorgeous. He has changed my life, really. He promised I would have zero pain, and I felt no pain what so ever. Anytime, and EVERYTIME, I sent him a message that I needed him, he called me back in less than half an hour. I can't speak highly enough of the care I got, from all of his office staff!! Thanks y'all!!
there are currently no medications you can take to help make bone or implants integrate into your jaw faster or better. The only thing that helps is when the procedure is performed, that they use your own bone and your own fibrin (draw your blood from your arm, spin it there in the office and use it as a membrane to hold the bone in place). Hope this helps and good luck. Dr E
you might want zirconia for your dental implants. This is currently the strongest porcelain on the market and it is esthetic. the porcelain fused to metal is what we have used it the past, and was stronger but it looks dark, or grey and is not very pretty. Depends on where it is. I use zirconia all over the mouth and have never had a crown on an implant break. Just my 2 cents.
Medicaid and Medicare Part B will not pay for dental implants. However if you find a surgical provider for Medicare part B they often pay towards bone grafting and sinus lifts. You need to check with Medicare to find a "surgical dental provider," not a "dentist." You need to have Part B and have a non-HMO secondary so not Medicaid, not Kaiser but something like AARP etc. Hope this helps. Dr E
