David Morwood is the best. He is a true artist and a unique , compassionate , complex and talented individual. He is not a greedy selfish Hollywood doctor and believe me I, have met a few. He is a gentle caring man, who is only looking out for what is best for you. I have met a million people in my lifetime but have only come across less than a handful of people whom I would consider one in a million, but he is one of those rare human beings.
Dr. Morwood understands the value of subtlety, and is very artistic in addition to being a first-rate doctor. He is a master of filler injections, and is able to envision how much correction is needed, and exactly where to make it. The result is that my facial features are softened, creating a more youthful appearance - with no hint whatsoever of the procedure that was done. I plan to look as good as I can, for as long as I can - and Dr. Morwood will be my secret weapon from now on.
Dr. Morwood is the best plastic surgeon! He is very talented in addition to being more than ethical in his practice. He takes pride in his work and would never suggest a procedure that is not flattering or not necessary. I know many of his patients and their appearance has significantly improved; therefore, I decided to have a couple of procedures and it was life changing for me. I have my youth back. Dr. Morwood is more than a great plastic surgeon; he is a talented artist who I will always trust as the best. You may have to pay more than the average plastic surgeon but you get what you pay for. Dr. Morwood and the medical community know that Dr. Morwood is among the best. I don't recall the price since I had a couple of procedures a few years ago. I have referred many to Dr. Morwood.
The neck lift is great, it's like it was when I was 20, and with no swelling, no pain, no infection. However, I signed papers for a neck AND jowl lift and was shown by the doctor, with a woman staff member present, how the results would look. The results would leave me without jowls and also eliminate marionette lines. I had told the doctor how people would say to me, "smile", thinking I was frowning, when my face was just at repose. It was those marionette lines making me look unhappy. Of course people had no business doing this. After the operation, I asked him when the jowls would be addressed. He just kept saying we have to wait for healing. Now, at more than 6 months post-op, he lead me to believe he would address this soon, saying he'd call me in a week. At 2 weeks, I called the office because I'd not received his call. Office staff woman said that he'd be sending me a letter. 2 more weeks, no letter. Now I'm looking at small claims court procedures. I have to talk with him again to see what can work. At this point I have not confidence in him. Communication with patients about outcomes seems lacking. We as patients don't know all the questions to ask. This doctor with 20+ years experience and who volunteers his stills outside the U.S.A., should do better with communication.
