Hi jones4597, It appears that your upper right front tooth can undoubtedly be fixed with Invisalign. There are ways to accelerate treatment in this day and age. With good compliance, within 6-9 months you should see a tremendous improvement in your smile. Best of luck!
Hi lulu1348, In general, teeth move approximately 1mm per month (although individual variability does exist). Given that, I would expect these spaces in your pictures to close in about 3-4 months assuming you're seeing your orthodontist regularly to have the braces tightened...looks like your close to the end! Good luck!
Hi user877, In general retainers are used to preserve the position of the teeth so as to prevent shifting. However, sometimes we can adjust retainers to achieve small improvements such as closing small spaces or moving a tooth back into alignment that has moved forward/backward. Usually turning or rotating a tooth is very difficult for a retainer alone to correct. Keep in mind, in order to achieve any type of movement, the retainer will have to be worn on a full-time basis and then can be switched to part-time (i.e. while sleeping) once the correction has been achieved. Hope that helps!
Hi joeshmoe1, Since your braces are still, it shouldn't be very difficult for your orthodontist to make an adjustment to the wire to affect the change you desire...let your orthodontist know about your concerns BEFORE the braces are removed. Best of luck!
Hi twinsies_91, Changing your aligners 12 hours earlier is typically fine however you always want to consult with your dentist/orthodontist first. Having said that, newer protocols have been developed where many Invisalign patients are changing their aligners every 7-10 days rather than the traditional 14 day cycle. This results in faster treatment! Best of luck!
