Unfortunately, mesh is a contraindication to use the laser as it may lead to mesh erosion and subsequent problems.  Wish I had a better answer for you....Best of luck

The short answer is yes, both topical hormone therapy and MLT can be used together, at least initially. If MLT is successful, you may be able to wean off the hormone therapy completely. In my opinion, MLT is still the best option outside of topical hormones to help with your issues.

It sounds as though you have experienced a moderate degree of improvement from the initial series of treatments. I think you have nothing to loose by continuing with treatment of the external areas probably every 6-8 weeks. In many situations, multiple treatments are needed for LS based on the response and symptom improvement. You should consult with your physician as to timing, price, etc.

Using the Mona LIsa for LS of the vulva is a reasonable option, especially is topical therapy has not been helpful. In my limited experience with LS, it may well take more than the typical three treatments recommended for vaginal atrophy. You should discuss this with your physician in regards to pricing, etc. I believe that there is definitely more chance for improvement in the LS with Mona Lisa than there is for making the situation worse.

Mona Lisa Touch will do nothing to enhance your "libido" unless you lack of interest is a response to discomfort during intercourse.  Most people will avoid behaviors that are painful or uncomfortable. MLT will help with restoring the function of the vaginal tissue and help to improve lubrication and elasticity. 

It would be reasonable for your to have your hormonal status tested to determine your estrogen/testosterone balance as well as be assessed for the presence of vaginal atrophy. Once your complete evaluation is completed, you will be better able to decide how you should proceed.
