I had been thinking about and talking about it for years to have a breast reduction. They were large and heavy. The older I got the more they hung, and my back, shoulder and neck pain continued to get worse from my body posture. A friend had referred me to Dr Palaia after her surgery and she was ecstatic with her results. I went for my consult, and new he was the surgeon for me, and I was then anxious and excited at the same time to get it scheduled. Bedside manner was pleasant, calming, and sincere. I highly recommend him if you are thinking about it. I am so pleased with the outcome. My life has changed because of it. I am less shy and able to wear the dress or blouse that I want to. I am weightless on my upper half and literally "have a weight lifted off my chest". I can walk around with a button shirt and not worry about my buttons popping open or my chest sticking out. The symmetrical and size are perfect. He wouldn't go lower than a full D because of my body type and I couldn't have agreed more with his decision. DO IT!! DONT WAIT! Dr Palaia is fantastic.

Whenever you are thinking about surgery there is a tremendous amount of apprehension. Upon entering the offices of Dr. David Palaia all of those feelings disappeared. Dr. Palaia was easy to talk to with and answered all my questions. More importantly he took his time with me to explain the procedure. I would not go anywhere else for my plastic surgery procedures. Dr. Palaia and the people who work with him are warm, friendly and personable. This warmth and friendliness also helps to make you feel welcome and you realize you are in good hands. I emailed with questions before and after the procedure and they were answered that day. More importantly my procedure went well, the healing process has been easy and I know I will be back for my next procedure.
I had a double mastectomy, consequently I had Brest implants. I didn't have a good experience with the implants so I had to have them removed. Since then I have spent a lot of time searching for a doctor who can help me during this very difficult time of my life. My European background gave me the opportunity to consult with other doctors outside of the country which only brought me back here where I began. I choose one of the doctors that I originally consulted with, Dr. David Palaia. He over exceeded my expectations. I would also like to mention Jami McGuire who is an exceptional practice scheduling associate to Dr. Palaia, the time and attention that she gave me was exactly what I needed to make me feel confident and ease my mind. I must say that Dr. Palaia high knowledge and superb technique made my surgery a great success. What is amazing is that with the minimal scars that are not even noticeable my implants doesn't bother me nor do I feel pain or discomfort like before. I would highly recommend Dr. David Palaia he is an excellent reconstruction plastic surgeon.
I have had three cosmetic procedures over the years. Dr. David Palaia of Mt. Kisco, New York, performed the last surgery. He is in a different league than my prior surgeons. Dr. Palaia listened to me and truly cared about me as a person. Post-surgery, Dr. Palaia and his staff were always available to answer my many questions while recuperating. I am thrilled with the outcome and so glad I chose Dr. Palaia for this procedure.
Chances are you are reading this comment because you are considering Dr Palaia as your surgeon. I can assure you with a resounding “yes” that you will be absolutely thrilled with your results. While having a face lift was not my first surgery rodeo, I knew that when dealing with my face I did not want to settle for anything less than the best. I did my due diligence in researching the best possible surgeon. Dr Palaia was recommended to me by my dermatologist’s office. I had an extended temporal lift with fat graft. I cannot say enough about Dr Palaia and his team. They are professional, caring and responsive. Everything they said would happen did. There were no surprises and I had an amazing recovery. I have been beyond happy with my results. When I first went in to see Dr Palaia I told him that I wanted to make sure that I looked like myself and he said…”you will look like yourself, only better.” And this was exactly true. You are in the best possible hands with Dr Palaia before, during and long after your surgery.
Dr. Palaia is an amazing plastic surgeon. Having waited over ten years to make the decision to get a breast augmentation and abdominoplasty ie; the mommy makeover, I was very careful in choosing the right physician. Dr. Palaia was very understanding, and reassured me that he could address and fix the areas that I was so self conscious for so long. I am so happy with the results of my procedures, that I felt compelled to share my experience in a public forum. I must add that his staff is also fantastic. From scheduling and nursing help, I could not have asked for a greater experience.
I first came to Dr. Palaia for injectables after seeing his excellent work on three friends. I was hesitant about surgery but realized the best and most financially beneficial outcome would be to have a mini facelift. I had the surgery in May of 2017 and couldn't be happier. Dr. Palaia and his staff are kind, professional and soothing. His work is impeccable and subtle. I am approaching 70 and wanted to look "rested," not pulled tight. I recommend him to anyone who is interested in fine cosmetic work.
OMG....even I can’t believe the results. I love saying it "I LOOK FANTASTIC"! I was hesitant at first about going under the knife. I consulted with 3 doctors and went with Dr. Palaia. He was confident which made me feel comfortable and had a great reputation plus he worked out of a hospital and not an off-site facility. I took the bandages off after a week and couldn’t believe my eyes. It's like a lost 25 years. Minimal scars up and around in only a week. I'm over the moon happy.
My mother had excellent results on an upper/lower blepharoplasty with Dr. Palaia early in his career, about 20 years ago. I always expected I would need it, too, but wasn't sure at what age. At 44 I started thinking about it and landed on age 46. I asked around quite a bit among people I know (including physicians) and Dr. Palaia was consistently recommended as doing excellent work -- namely, subtle and natural looking. My goal was to look like me, just refreshed, and 10 years younger. I was tired of looking tired and that it didn't reflect how I feel on the inside. I found Dr. Palaia and his office colleagues to be extremely professional throughout the process. They give thorough instructions on what to prepare for to ensure proper prep and post-op healing, including a regimen of vitamins. On the day of surgery, admission to Northern Westchester Hospital was quick and very professional. He came in and confirmed the procedure, and the anesthesiologist and OR nurse did the same. All very professional. When I came to post surgery, everything was as had been described. Week 1 is with sutures in, and some discomfort, but not terrible. Despite swelling, I could see where it was headed and pleased (although the swelling is annoying). Removing the sutures on Day 5 was a big shift and I could start being more mobile (and on Day 7 I wore makeup to Easter Services -- if swollen). Week 2 I worked from home and avoided makeup. Week 3 largely back in action, though not at top pace. Week 4 people were saying I looked energized, but couldn't put their finger on it. The malar fat graft which was confurrent did cause more swelling than I anticipated and more soreness in abdomen than I expected. At Week 2 I was not pleased I did it but be Week 4 with the swelling mostly down, I really am pleased with the outcome. I am eager to see what it looks like at Month 3, when it is fully settled. Net net -- at Week 4 I am 100% pleased, even if not yet fully healed. Not one regret -- in fact, wish I did it earlier. And I would recommend Dr. Palaia without hesitation and would return to him for other procedures.
