Dr. Greuner and his staff are amazing!!! I am so happy with my results. Everything about my experience was wonderful. The doctor and his team were reassuring and made my experience very pleasant (which was great since I am very afraid of pain). The overall experience from the front desk staff to the medical assistants were very helpful and informative which is hard to find when you go to a doctors office.
I have been waiting to write any reviews until I have healed fully from my vein procedures. I had cramping in my legs and huge varicose veins that got worse after I had my children. I had three procedures done and felt better and better after each one. Dr. Greuner made my legs look brand new. His office and staff are all very professional and make you feel like you're at home.
I purchased a living social voucher for my spider veins. I saw Dr. Greuner in his NYC location. I still have to go back for my complimentary follow up visit but I have already noticed a significant difference in my problem areas! I am so happy with the results I have seen thus far and am so eager to have my follow up appointment.
Today I had sclerotherathy for my spider veins. It was a pretty simple procedure for how nervous I was. Dr. Greuner had the hands of an angel and such a light touch. It was simple and painless procedure. I was in and out of the office in around one hour. My spider veins were disappearing right in front of my eyes!!
This mostly depends on the size of the veins treated. In general, I have no problem with this. If the veins were treated by ENDOVENOUS closure, then some abstinence from heavy weight bearing activity is needed. Endovenous closure is for varicose veins, not spider veins. This should be asked to your health care provider that provided the treatment, ideally.
Veins on the face can be treated with microphlebectomy, laser or injections. Microphlebectomy is best for veins that cannot be treated by transcutaneous (through the skin) laser. It involves the physical removal of the vein. There are a variety of tools that can be used for microphlebectomy, and some involve incisions of 1mm, some larger, but typically none larger than 3mm. Typically there is a bruise, but this is short lived. A 1mm incision typically heals with no obvious scar, especially on the face, which in general heals better than most areas of the body because of an abundant blood supply. To truly identify which would be best for you, a consultation, or at the very least, a high resolution photo would be needed.A good rule of thumb, is a vein you can feel, is better for MP, a spider vein, or a threadlike vein, is better treated by injection or laser. The downsides with injection or laser, is several treatments.

In general, some patients and areas need more sclerotherapy sessions than others. Its just an individual dependent issue, like any medication the response is different in some people. The only was to really tell, would be a physical exam, but in general, there should not be any issue that cannot be resolved.
It is possible, but depends on a variety of factors such as the level of irritation still present from the procedure, as well as the components of the cream. In general, this is a question best discussed with your treating physician after a physical exam.
