I had been thinking about getting my boobs done for the the last year as one of my boobs was bigger than the other and quite droopy, I then decided to book my surgery for the 2nd of November. I needed a lift (Mastopexy) on only my right side and implants in both boobs I had to get 345CC in my left side and 310CC in my right side both round Implants. Updated on 4 Nov 2016: This is day 2 feel like they are a lot in my arm pits but I know it's still early Updated on 8 Nov 2016: Updated on 9 Nov 2016: Went and got my dressings taken off today all I've got on now is steri strips I also bought a new bra which is a lot tighter and pulls my boobs right up. But now I'm in agony I dono know if it is because my bra is pulling them in for the first time or if it is because the bra is rubbing of my scars? The pain is like mini burning sensations every few seconds through each boob like little electric shocks anyone had this? I've had to take more painkillers because of it Updated on 10 Nov 2016: Got major pain still like electric shocks mostly in my right boob where I had the lift it's mostly round the bottom the electric shock pains are definitely coming from mr scars the nurse at transform said it's fine but I'm in agony Updated on 11 Nov 2016: Still in agonising pain and have been for 2 and a half days I first thought it was because the pressure from my sports bra but the pain is still there when I take it off. The pain is horrible burning shooting pains through where I was cut mostly in my right breast but still in both was crying my eyes out last night had to phone the out of office number she said it's fine it's just healing as there is no open wounds pain killers aren't working hoping it passes soon! Updated on 12 Nov 2016: 10 days post Updated on 16 Nov 2016: I am now 2 weeks post surgery and back to work most pain is gone get the odd shooting pain but that's normal! I can't believe how much they have changed in 2 weeks already I feel like they are quite far apart but I know that's the type of boobs I had before but they will still change a lot. I kind of wish they looked a little more fake rather than quite natural Updated on 26 Nov 2016: Took all my streistrips of now finally feeling pretty much back to normal but I still get scared when I go in the shower in case the glue softens and in case my nipple doesn't heel properly but I think I am just being paranoid got my Christmas night out a week today where I'm going to wear my first ever low cut top without a bra! Still think hey look very natural and wish they looked a little bit more perky but so far I am happy Updated on 22 Dec 2016: 7 weeks post absolutely loving them now! Updated on 7 Oct 2017: Next month it will be a year since I've had my boobs done best decision of my life!
I have always had small breasts. My mother used to say that I had to put on weight so they would grow but I have never wanted to gain weight. Around 2 months ago I was showering and my boyfriend was with me, I looked at the mirror and said "what do you think if I get a boob job"? He look at me and said: You are sooooo confident the way you are, I could not imagine with big boobies.. I laughed. The convo stopped there. Suddenly that evening he looked at me and said, Do you really wanna do it? I said, yes!!!! Then he said Ok.. Lets research and do it.. We looked into the hospitals, doctors, places, reviews etc.. I found Dr. Daniel Widdowson. I went on a consultation with him and he explained everything I wanted to know.. I was planning in getting a 300cc Mentor, he said I could go bigger and after the 3D simulation I decided to go for a 350cc. My surgery is in a week and I am a bit scared and excited at the same time. It is going to be in Edinburgh, General anaesthetic which I have never had before. I have already paid for the procedure, bought the post op bras.. Updated on 16 Jan 2017: I am very exciteeeeeed.. If I could do it tomorrow, I would.. I cant stop watching videos and reading about it. A little bit worried I might be going too big for my body structure. (1.66m... 53kg). 350cc might be too much? ahhhhhhhh :(.. I really do not want to be disappointed.. Updated on 20 Jan 2017: Hello Girls... I just wanted to share with you my excitement for my surgery. My pillow has arrived as well as my post op bras. I feel like they are too big, I ordered a size M but feels loose, might change when I get the implants (350cc HP Mentor). My nurse is calling me tomorrow afternoon to discuss the last arrangements for Tuesday. Any recommendations for creams or oils for stretch marks and scars?? I am still thinking about the size.. is 350cc going to give me the natural look I want? no time for regrets... Updated on 24 Jan 2017: I feel that my boobs are sooo big.. but they said it is because it is swollen.. The surgery went well.. the nurses and the doctor were amazing.. I am at home already.. taking the meds and trying to rest.. Updated on 26 Jan 2017: I had a bad reaction to the medication yesterday.. I kept vomiting through the night. I called the hospital and they told me to stop with the medication and I am seeing my surgeon today. My breasts are looking good I thing. Oh well, for 2 days after the surgery.. But my stomach hurts a lot. Updated on 30 Jan 2017: Today is my first post op consultation.. I am seeing one of the nurses. Let's see how it goes :) Updated on 7 Feb 2017: Updated on 18 Feb 2017: :) Updated on 13 Mar 2017: Hi guys. It has been a while. Here is an update of my 7th week post op. They look a little different but my surgeon said one is softer than another and it means that the other one should drop a bit more. I should be patient and wait. Overall I am happy. Xx Updated on 20 Mar 2017: Updated on 2 Jul 2017: I am a new person. My confidence has increased and I am very happy with my decision. I love it.
Hi Cruz0846, as with any surgery, every patient is different, however full recovery is usually 6 weeks. This is also dependent on whether drains are used, and whether recovery goes to plan. Most patients are mobile fairly quickly following surgery but experience feeling lethargic, so at least 2 weeks of rest post surgery is advised. We wish you the very best of luck on your journey.
