I've been wanting to whiten my teeth for a few months now, and consulted a few dentists in the city. I was referred by a friend (who had a gorgeous white smile) to Dr Daniel Rubinshtein at the Bensonhurst clinic. I immediately felt comfortable and at ease with his sense of humour, passion and professionalism. I could not be happier, with the results, my peers and family members have all noticed a whiter and wider smile. I had really bad coffee stains and now they're all gone. The procedure was quick and efficient. Thanks Dr. Daniel, will def recommend you!
It all depends on what your final result will be. Lets say you are planning to do something called a fixed bridge on implants it might take 5-8 implants on the bottom and 6-8 implants on the top. If the plan was to do an over denture ( basically having a denture that clicks into the implants) than you can consider having less implants placed. Implant placement might determine if you need any extra procedures done to make you a candidate. Some one might need implants on the upper right and left side of the maxilla. If the sinuses are too close you might need to do a sinus lift and possible bone graft. In conclusion, implant procedure can range drastically in price depending on the location and the type of end result you are looking for. Regardless which route you take, the results have to be beautiful. Make sure to see a dental practice that has a multi specialty team. Good Luck,Dr. Daniel S. The fact is that your situation is very common. We live in a superficial world that judges the book by its cover. Unfortunately, the world misses out on so many amazing and talented people. Fortunately we live in a time that there are so many different ways to make amazing changes to a smile that can bring out the inner beauty of a person. If finances is a major concern of yours you may consider getting your dental treatment in a dental university. Good luck with your endeavor.
Unfortunately after someone loses their teeth the bone starts to resorb, meaning you start losing size of bone. Unless you replace the missing teeth with implants there isn't really much you can do to stop the progression of the bone loss. As we age our skin loses the collagen and volume thus creating the creases in our face. Dentures do not hold the bone from resorbing so you will have to either relign the denture or replace them. There is a new wave of dentures called face-lift dentures that can try and reduce the creases on your face. But if you want something that works even better you might consider Botox and Fillers. You would want to find a dentist who understands facial aesthetics can deliver the results you are looking for.
You did the right thing by going through orthodontics as a way to close off your space. Orthodontics is still the best route to take to close the gap and fix your occlusion. IF you just want to focus on the two front teeth, by either apply bonding or veneers, the front two teeth will appear wide and out of proportion. If you don't want to reconsider braces than your cosmetic dentist needs to work up your case and see if there needs to be more than two teeth involved with either veneers or bonding to gain the golden proportion " symmetry". With that said both options are great. If you choose the route of bonding, than you have to trust that who ever is placing the bonding has the hand and eye skills to accomplish what you are looking for.
First we need to understand why your teeth are breaking and chipping. It can be due to cavities, it could be due to your occlusion, it could be due to parafunctional habits such as bruxism. With out a proper clinical exam it's all up in the air. Visit a dentist who understands occlusion and can evaluate you properly.
