I went to Dr. Radin yesterday for undereye fillers (for my hollows). He was very, very informative. You could tell he had a great passion for his work. He was very kind and asked me questions about the concerns I had. He was very thorough. I didn't feel like I was being rushed out of there. He took his time and I think that is an amazing quality. He promised me I wouldn't walk out of there looking 'fake'. This was my first time with fillers and I trusted him completely. There is very minimal bruising and no pain. It looks great right now, I'm sure it will look better once the swelling goes down a bit (even though the swelling is also minimal). I will definitely be returning.
I'm from Michigan and I crossed the border to see Dr Radin, he is a very good doctor, pleasant and knowledgable. I highly recommend him if you live in the Detroit metropolitan area and don't mind crossing the border to Windsor. The staff is very nice and welcoming. Thank you again for your expertise and help.
You may wish to pursue a surgical option. If not, you want to use a filler that will not show the "Tyndall effect" or blue discolouration.Currently my personal favourites for this area are the restylane family of products and Teosyal Redensity II.The most important thing is to see a physician who is very experienced in fillers, as this can be a difficult area to treat.Wishing you the best.Dr. Daniel Radin, Cosmetic and Laser Dermatology, Windsor, Ontario, Canada
That is an excellent question. You are not alone. Facial veins are very common. There are a number of lasers which can be used. IPL/intensed pulse light, pulsed dye laser, 532/KTP or a YAG laser can be used. It's more important to find someone who's experienced with lasers. Rather than someone that has a particular laser. You can get great results with all of the lasers. It's just important to find someone that's good. I would recommend seeing a board-certified dermatologist.Wish you the best.Dr. Daniel Radin, Dermatologist, Windsor, ON, Canada.
You will likely notice some changes within the first few days. I usually tell my patients it takes one to two weeks for the full effect to "kick in".Every one is different. Botox is not "cookie-cutter". Each individual needs a different treatment. If you haven't noticed anything by two weeks I would go see the person that did it.
Thank you for that excellent question. Unfortunately scarring from acne is very common. And treatment is difficult.I always tell my patients that we can likely improve this fine but it is difficult to eliminate it. A combination of fillers, chemical peels, and various lasers can be used to improve the appearance.I hope that helps.Dr. Daniel Radin. Dermatologist, Windsor, Ontario,Canada
That is a great question. With time, unfortunately our face descends. Filler when used in the proper fashion can create an uplift or rising of the cheeks. It is more important to find someone (I would recommend a dermatologist or plastic surgeon)that is experienced with dermal fillers. It's not so much filler(ie juvederm, voluma, restylane, perlane, Belotero, teosyal, radiesse, sculptra), but the person actually doing injections that makes the most difference.I hope that helps.Dr. Daniel Radin, Cosmetic and Laser Dermatology, Windsor, ON, Canada
