Dr Kirk is the BEST! We happened to find him by luck and this was the greatest gift, ever. He performed a cheek cyst removal and my results were exactly what I expected and wanted. The incision was great and stitching was to perfection - neat & tidy! I will be back again for my BBL & I cannot wait! Highly recommend!
Hi, As part of deep plane face and neck lifts, I sometimes have to remove part of the submandibular gland when they are large and show just as yours do. This can be done through a small incision under the chin. Its important that you see a doc that has significant experience with the with deep neck structures such as facial plastic/head and neck surgeons (ENT), maxillofacial or facial cosmetic surgeons. Hope this helps! Dr Kirk - Long Island, New York
Hi! When facial profiles are analyzed, the most aesthetically pleasing and harmonious profile is one that is convex. As you mentioned, your profile is flat/slightly convex which looks to be from what is known as midface insufficiency which is just a fancy term for underdevelopment of the cheeks/upper jaw. This probably also gave the illusion that you had a more pronounced chin as well. You may or may not had jaw surgery recommended to you in the past. There are several solutions which I think can work in your favor. The most simple can be cheek filler or fat transfer to help build up the volume in the middle third of your face. Another slightly more invasive option can be malar (cheek) or submalar (below the cheek) silicone implants to help create that volume. The last option could be jaw surgery (orthognathic surgery) however this is a big surgery and if your teeth and bite are in a good place then it wouldn't be worth it. Ultimately, an in person exam would be recommended to provide you with the best treatment options. I hope this helps! - Dr. Kirk @ Pincus Plastic Surgery
HI! Lumps and bumps are always a risk when it comes to dermal fillers. It is important that it is performed by an experienced injector to help minimize this risk. It is certainly a reasonable option to dissolve the filler and try again. Another option that works wonderful for my patients is fat transfer. Fat is a great alternative to dermal fillers as it is from your own body and it is a permanent solution. This too should be performed by an experience surgeon as there are risks and it does require a small amount of liposuction to obtain the fat. It is also important to know that once fat is injected, some of it (usually 30-40%) dissolves and thus you may require a subsequent treatment to achieve the ultimate volume you want. The good news is that its permanent and you wont have to continue getting fillers year after year. Hope this helps! - Dr Kirk @ Pincus Plastic Surgery
Hi! Based on the pictures, you appear to be in great shape and I'm not sure what you are looking for with regards to your back. There are techniques that are offered known as hi def lipo or hi def body contouring that uses liposuction to create muscular definition. As was mentioned in another answer, your body type may not be one in which your waist line is defined. Surgically, the waist can be defined or accentuated with liposuction to the waist with or without fat transfer to the lateral hips to give that more hourglass appearance. The ability to do this all depends on the the amount of fat that you have that is able to be removed from the waistline and/or potentially harvested from other areas and transferred. Bodytite is a skin tightening modality that is typically reserved for patients that have poor skin quality or are older where the skin is less likely to shrink following liposuction. So whether or not you are a good candidate depends on your skin quality. Ultimately, you would need to be examined in person to be able to provide you with a more definitive recommendation.
