I had a fantastic experience with the doctor and his staff. They were all very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this doctor !!! I will definitely be going back if I ever need anything pertaining to his practice !!!! ***Two thumbs up guys and thank you to dr anagnos and his staff ****** !!
Naturally, I was very concerned about having injections under my eyes, but after 3 babies, and weight loss of 70lbs with each of them, the fat in my face had noticeably decreased and my eyes looked cadaverish. I live in a small area (Boone, NC) where Dr. Anagnos happens to practice and also happens to be a very reputable surgeon. He convinced me to go with Perlane under my eyes (2 syringes) and I have to admit I was skeptical because all the reviews I've read recommend Restylane. I went ahead with his recommendation because of his stellar peer reviews but only had 1 syringe to start with. So far, it looks fantastic--75% better, but he was right, I need 1 more syringe. Now I'm wondering if I should use Restylane this time around for the outer corners of my tear troughs because of all the stuff I have read with regard the the molecule size of Perlane. Any encouragement or advice from an experienced patient or practitioner? Updated on 28 May 2015: So 3 years have passed since my under-eye injections (which I felt looked amazing for a good 2 years). In the last 3 months, one eye has developed a festoon (bag) under it. I have to wonder if it is due to some complication with injectables (especially since it's only under 1 eye). Is it normal for someone to age (I'm almost 40) in this uneven fashion? I'm hesitate to correct it without a professional opinion.
