Such a good surgeon. Did my nose job almost 2 years ago and my results are incredible. He’s a truly skilled and talented doctor. Very happy I chose him. My breathing is great, my bump is gone and I always get complimented on my nose now!
Even though I had an unfortunate complication post-op (these things can happen), I have to say that Dr. Matic and his entire team (especially Vicky) have been amazing. I have never felt so well taken care of and supported through my journey, including the ups and downs. You can tell that Dr. Matic cares and is an amazing human on top of being a great surgeon.
Amazing results, Dr Matic and his team are by far one of the best in this field, I will definitely recommend Dr.Matic. I am going back for a mini facelift. It took me 6 years to find and trust a doctor, and I have ZERO concerns with Dr Matic
I had rhinoplasty done in November of 2021. It's almost been a year since my procedure and I couldn't be happier. The result is very natural, and it doesn't look like I have had work done at all. The procedure was easy for the most part. Really great follow-up appointments/care, he even let me take a video of myself getting the splints out of my nose which I appreciated. The most painful part of the whole procedure was the removal of the splints and removal of the stitches. I was taught on how to apply steri-strips post-op (called "taping"), and also about massaging the area once my cast was off. The nurse was very informative, kind, and helpful before the procedure as well. I felt taken care of overall. The nose now looks like it just fits my face properly, and I don't even have to think about it anymore. It's as though it never happened and is just ME. I used to obsess over my big nose prior to this--now it's just--regular. If that makes sense? I just love not thinking about my nose anymore. Finally something I am not self conscious of! Happy with the result and I have no scar somehow. I didn't even do a whole lot to try and diminish the scar, it was just naturally very small and not noticeable. I ended up going for breast augmentation last week on Sept 21, 2022 because I trusted him as a surgeon. That went very well too! I can't post much about the final results because I am still healing from that, but overall the recovery has been smooth and the pain is like a 3/10. Nose job I would rate about a 7/10 on the pain scale in comparison. If I ever need anything else done in the future I will definitely be going to Dr. Matic again given my two great experiences.
Went for my initial consultation with Dr. Matic on May 9. He was great! My husband and I were instantly comfortable with him and he was very helpful in answering all of our questions and recommending sizes and helping us choose. We left feeling confident he was my surgeon. Ended up booking and paying for my augmentation that day. Dr Matic offers a choice of hospital or private clinic. We chose private clinic and ended up booking for May 27th! Today I am 1 day post op. Throughout the last 2 weeks I have emailed Dr. Matics secretary Vicky with several questions. She was always so helpful and quick to get back to me (honestly usually almost instantly!) We arrived at the clinic for surgery yesterday at 1pm and it was a very welcoming environment. Rebecca registered me and nurse Bridget took us right in to get started. She was such a caring and calming person to have with me the whole time! Started right away with changing into hospital gown and lovely compression stockings. Then she started an IV and gave me antibiotics. My husband was with me the whole time right beside me. A surgical nurse Ed came and did some more questions and chatting with me. Dr. Matic came and chatted a bit and took before pictures and marked me up. The Anesthesiologist dr Antonio came and asked a few more questions and eased my mind. Ed came back and told me exactly what to expect when I went to the surgical room. It was so reassuring to know exactly what to expect. There was another nurse in there. I think her name was Kate. Once in the room I was out cold within 2 minutes! They were all super efficient! I woke up feeling very high and really tired. Nurse Bridgette texted my husband so he was right there as I was waking up. I was a little bit sick coming off the anesthesia. But Bridget was right there by my side. We were leaving the clinic to come home by 5:15. No pain so far, just a lot of pressure. Getting up and down is the hardest. I have a follow up this afternoon at 3. Overall I am so happy I chose dr Matic and this private clinic! Everyone was absolutely wonderful to us! Tip: I put each prescription (antibiotic and pain meds) into a ziploc bag with the bottle as it is very hard to open the pill bottles. Updated on 29 May 2019: Feeling super blessed day 1. No pain but feeling lots of pressure and just a little uncomfortable. Had my follow up with Dr Matic today as he took the bandages off and had a look. Everything is looking good! I’ve stopped taking the pain killers already. Just taking extra strength Advil every 6 hours. I love them already!! Updated on 30 May 2019: Yesterday was 2 days post op and I felt great. I I Was able to shower on my own and even wash my hair and shave my legs on my own. Still feeling a little bit of pressure but no pain.
I am having my surgery on Mach 4th, 2019. I will be having a breast augmentation and a Mtt. I am very nervous but super confident in my surgeon. I will post before and after photos when I am on the other side ???????? Updated on 6 Mar 2019: I had my mommy makeover yesterday (mini tt and Brest augmentation) on March 4th 2019 at 7:15am. I was very nauseous as my body does not agree with anaesthetics very well. It is now the next morning and I have not taken any pain medication as I will be sick from it so I have been taking extra strength Tylenol. I am very sore and tired but I am hoping it was all worth it ????????. I am moving around with my incredible husbands help. I am doing little walks around the house and back and forth to the bathroom. I see my surgeon this morning for my check up and we will go from there. I will keep everyone updated. Updated on 1 May 2019: Overall I am quite happy with my results so far. My tummy is still swollan but that is to be expected. The worst part overall was waking up from surgery as me and pain medication do not mix well. I got very nauseous. I would definitely recommend Dr.Matic
Dr. Matic is absolutely amazing!! I had abdominoplasty with hernia repair surgery on April 23, 2018. Dr. Matic is incredibly professional, easy to talk to, kind, patient and extremely gifted with a scalpel!!! Updated on 15 Jun 2020: This pic is 2 years post op. I also had appendectomy 1 year post op so still working on having those scars fade. Loving my results, rape for such a difficult case as mine as my back is not straight, pelvis tilted forward so with all of that going on..I'd say he nailed it!
I recently went to Dr. Matic after I lost over 100lbs. I first had a breast argumentation done Feb 1st/16, then he also had done my panniculectomy Apr 25/16. He was very informative and had an amazing bedside manner. I have recommended Dr. Matic to MANY friends and family!
Dr. Matic has been great. LOVE his bedside manner, truly made me feel at ease with EVERY aspect of my anxiety regarding my procedure. Everything flowed smoothly from beginning to end. He is VERY punctual with appointments and takes the time to listen to any concerns, and answers all questions until you feel comfortable. I truly recommend Dr. Matic to anyone looking for excellent all around good care and especially, quality work!

Dehiscence after brachioplasty can occur in 10-20% of patients depending on how much was removed and overall size as well as other issues like if you are a smoker, diabetic, or even post-bariatric. It also most commonly will occur up near the armpit but of course can happen anywhere along the incision. Revision surgery generally does not involve the entire scar or incision and if enough time has passed, the skin will have relaxed so that the tension on the new incision will be much less than it was with the initial surgery which reduces the likelihood of things opening or not healing. So it is less common with revision surgery but of course still a possibility as with any surgical procedure, D
