Was tired of my tired eyes. Simple procedure (was weird being awake but totally do-able). No pain to speak of and incredible doctor who provided advice and encouragement every step of the way. Follow the post-op instructions...it’s getting better every day. Updated on 7 Apr 2020: Recovery has been easy. Still a bit of swelling and pink under eyes from the laser. But no pain at all and much better being able to wear some makeup. Scars are fading nicely, using Biocorneum twice a day. Updated on 11 Apr 2020: I have received a request for a before picture. Next time I go to the surgeons office I will get his photos, but this is my before and 1 month post-op. Still have a bit of swelling, no pain, but overall pleased with the results. Updated on 1 May 2020: Not much change in the second month. Still some redness under the eyes where the laser was, but can cover with makeup. Scars on one eye are almost completely gone, the other side is minimal...I’m applying Biocorneum daily. Updated on 24 Aug 2020: It’s been 6 months and I’m pretty happy with the way everything has healed. Will likely do a bit of Botox on the crows feet, and still have a bit of hollowness under the eyes...but overall I achieved what I hoped for and would do it all over again.

Hi Ladies, I had the filler, Juvederm injected in my lips. I went to a very qualified plastic surgeon (Stanford & Harvard trained) I looked good for about two weeks then the filler quickly disappeared. After 4 weeks, my lips were back to the size they were before the procedure. I called the maker Allergan to complain. The Rep. said Juvederm was not tested on lips, only the nasal-labial folds on the face, so it's an "off label" use. In other words, Tough Luck! I wasted $700. :( Updated on 22 Oct 2018: The doctor is great.  it was not his fault that the procedure did not last very long.  I did say I wanted something permanent for my lips to make them fuller.  I found out later about Permalip by Surgisil, which is permanent.  The doctor did not mention this product.  Uhmm.  He is a plastic surgeon and does not know about this permanent solution to make your lips fuller? Updated on 22 Oct 2018: I attended a seminar by Dr. Yeh and he showed slides of outcomes of plastic surgery of the face. I went to his office for Juvederm filler to fill my thinning lips. I don't have an issue with Dr. Yeh, but I do have an issue with Juvederm. This product does not last very long and I now have permanent purple discoloration just below my skin at the injection sites, just inside the lip margin. The procedure was done 4 years ago, and the discoloration have developed over time.
