I’ve been a patient of Dr.Lawler for 10years . Wonderful bedside manner . I’m 48 and considering ultherapy for the second time with Dr. Lawler . He has giving me the confidence I once lost . Nobody believes my age . Thank you Dr. Lawler.
I'm a 60 yo man. I weno through a very painful divorce when my wife of 35 years left me for another man. I suddenly found myself old, lonely and depressed. Then I decide to get myself back in the world. I started exercising and pursuing all the things that I use to love. But I decided to take this transformation to the next level. I was feeling great and now I wanted to look my best. I consulted with 3 doctors in my area, and I decided to use Dr. Cory Lawler. I chose him due to his excellent reputation and his personality. I decided to use a local anesthesia, which greatly reduced the cost. Now, no one believes I'm 60!!!!! I'm surfing, bicycling and I even bought the dune buggy I always wanted as a teen. I feel better than I did in my 30s. Thank you so much Dr. Lawler and to your entire great staff. You changed my life. Updated on 24 Jan 2017: 6 months post I'm a 60 yo man. Love him and his staff. Dr Lawler is kind, gentle and an artist with filler. He will only enhance your beauty, never make you look exaggerated. I've had juvederm and Botox done a few times at his office in Melbourne Fl.
I went for a few consultations and felt like every doc was a car salesman saying the poland disease was a huge issue.... Doctor Lawler was AMAZING he made me feel super comfortable honest and real... I love my boobs now and feel so comfortable in my own skin. i was a 34A on the left and 34B on the right about 70cc off from each other.....We had to differant sizes for the left breast we wanted 385cc but my skin was to tight so we ended up doing 365cc and its perfect in the right he did 304cc...the right is still a little bigger but its way closer then it was before and i know it going in that we were trying for the 385cc but it wasn't a guarantee that my skin would allow for it...His staff is amazing
So it goes like this… I've always always always hated my thighs. I've always felt disproportionate and never quite comfortable in my own skin. Buying jeans (any bottoms really), is reoccurringly, one of the most frustrating, saddening experiences of my life. First world problems, right?! I met my hubby 15 years ago and, according to him, have been complaining about my thighs (and tummy pooch) all 15 years. I have jokingly brought up having surgery but never was really serious until about a month ago. I've gained weight and I've lost weight and while my thighs and my tummy have gotten bigger and smaller, I have always seen them as disproportionate to the rest of me. And Ya know, if you going to have your body contoured, why not fix the boobs too?! So, I have also decided to have a mastopexy (Breast lift) done in 6 weeks. ;) My experience with the surgery itself has been much different than I anticipated. I have a low threshold for pain and on top of that was not expecting the pain to be so great. I've had 10+ surgeries in my 34 years and this one is by far the worst pain-wise. When I woke up from surgery and my legs hurt SOOOOOO bad- on a 1 to 10 scale, I'd say it was a 12! I was literally rolling back-and-forth on the recovery bed because it hurts so much. They gave me a shot of something in my IV and it took me down to like a 9. My husband got me home and I took some more pain medicine and it was still wicked. The doctor called me in some really heavy duty stuff and honestly that didn't really touch it either but it did knock me out so I could sleep. The only thing that made the pain better was time. Each day has gotten a little bit better than the last. Today is day five post op and it is the first day that I've been able to survive just on Tylenol alone. The best way to describe how I have been feeling is that I was at the bottom of a cattle stampede. Another crazy thing for me… When I take off this consound did compression garment I get very dizzy and lightheaded and see spots. I'm told that this is normal, it's referred to as a "vaso-vagal response". Today when I took the garment off for just a few minutes I actually did feel a little bit better so hopefully this phenomenon is dissipating. Lastly, I strongly encourage anyone thinking about any kind of surgery, not just cosmetic, to investigate the doctors that are available to you. And always, always go with a board-certified surgeon!! That's all for now. I will update every few days. Updated on 20 Oct 2015: Having had 12+ surgeries, liposuction is still rating as the most difficult recovery process. I get very tired very quickly and still spend the majority of my days on a horizontal position. Last week I noticed a gigantic lump across my tummy, under my belly button. I saw ps the next day for a follow up and he said it was perfectly normal. I asked about lymphatic drainage massage, and PS says its "hocus-pocus" lol. I went for one anyway and it did soften part of the lump but it only lasted a few hrs and the hardness came back. That's pretty much confirmed his hocus-pocus theory for me. I popped back in the office today for more pain Meds and he wasn't busy at the moment so he wanted to see me because I am still in pain in my stomach. He says the lump is still okay and asked if I'd been doing anything to it. I said I'd been applying oils (coconut and other essiential oils) twice daily. He advised against everything I've been doing he says "hands off!" So that's what I'm doing from here. 2weeks post op tomorrow! (No pics yet, yall. Nothing to show besides lots of swelling!)
I had gone to another facility for this procedure, but I had seen some of their past clients and I changed my mind. I then waited, because I was afraid to try again, but then I discovered the Lawler Centre. I called and immediately was quoted accurate prices; no hidden charges that you receive later. The price I was quoted is what I paid when I left. I got an appointment right away, and they accommodated my schedule. I arrived at the most beautiful facility! So cheerful, clean, bright and not at all 'threatening' or 'doctorish'. Everyone on staff had a ready smile and all were informative about everything. I am always an inquisitive type, but I got straight answers from everyone. When Dr. Cory walked in..(he's SOOO tall), I was instantly drawn to his friendly, outgoing personality. He's funny, makes you feel at ease, and he does NOT allow you to experience any pain. I have been there twice for my lips; once my upper and then my lower. He doesn't go for the 'overdone' duck face, so he advised me on what would look good and natural and I'm SOOOOO pleased! They are puffy and realistic looking, and my recovery time was about half an hour; if that long. I was numb; like the dentist, and then, when that wore off, zero pain. It was amazing both times, and I fully intend on going back for more things to try and look my best. I will never go anywhere else; if you want the best, and by an experienced professional, the Lawler Centre is the place to go. Updated on 20 Jul 2015:
Dr.Lawler and his staff was absolutely amazing and always professional. The nurses are a great team with Dr.Lawler. I only took prescription pain med for 3days approx. Dr.Lawler is very stringent and excellent at what he does. I'm so glad my friend referred me. I researched 2 other surgeons and without a doubt I made the right choice.
Ok so I am going to post pics of what my TT looks like now. April I have a revision. You can see my other reviews of my TT from Dec 2011. I am getting me bb redone and TT with lipo on the hips. I was not happy with the fat that still hung over on my hips. I have a little fat pack above my bb and have a hangover on my left side on TT bad and a little in the right side. He is doing the revision and bb fix free but I am getting lipo so paying for that. Updated on 20 Apr 2013: Pain was very minimal compared to the tummy tuck. Can't wait to see the final results. I get thd stitches out of bb and bottom of my tummy Thursday. Updated on 21 Apr 2013: Post op day 4.. Feeling better then ever. Still going to work from home tomorrow. Over all very happy with the pain lol!!! Updated on 22 Apr 2013: Day 5 feeling great!!! Worked from home not bad. After months of research and several consultations with local surgeons, I chose Dr. Lawler to perform a full face lift and neck lift. I highly recommend Dr. Lawler. He is very competent and the nurses on his staff are skilled and compassionate. TIPS: if you do not normally sleep on your back, start doing so a week or so before surgery. Recovery from the anesthesia and trying to sleep comfortably on my back were the worst part of recovery for me. The first few days, I was not able to open my mouth very wide to eat (could barely fit a spoonful in it) and you have to take care not to stretch your face/neck muscles but mobility returns slowly over time. I went back to work at the office after two weeks but still had bruising and swelling that I attempted to hide with hair and make-up. I followed ALL pre and post op instructions. You definitely want a care giver on hand the first couple of days (my hubby was great!). I am still in the recovery process (had surgery Dec'12) with some swelling and bruising left but I am absolutely pleased with the results. I look like a younger, fresher me....the deep laugh lines and loose neck are gone!

Hello,49-years old is not too young. Chronological age does not correspond to physiological age in a lot of patients. This can occur because of past sun damage, history of smoking, previous cancer, or genetics and stress. Most face lifts will last anywhere from 8-10 years sometimes up to 13 yrs. Typically a candidate for face lift would have deep nasolabial folds, hooding of eyelids, deep forehead lines (as examples). Keep in mind there are variations of all of these due to genetic and external factors. The best thing to do is to discuss your concerns and expectations with your board certified surgeon. There is no such thing as a standard face lift either. Every surgery is customized for the patient and their concerns for facial aging. Best wishes to you.
Hello,Most definitely tell your surgeon that you would like to go bigger and sorry to hear about your complication. We want our patients to be happy and get the results they desire. I'm sure if you communicate with your doctor, you can work out a time frame and plan to get the bigger size you wish to have. Best wishes to you!
Hello,Your surgeon will be able to give you the best information in your consultation but our patients are seen the day after surgery to make sure they are doing alright and to answer any questions. Generally, sutures are removed 5-6 days post-op. I recommend my patients that they can start with light exercise at three weeks. Best wishes.
Hello,The tummy tuck, (abdominoplasty), is not a weight reduction procedure so you shouldn't expect to lose very much at all. The procedure is to remove excess skin and there is very little weight to the fatty tissue removed. Best wishes to you!
Hello,Like the other physicians have mentioned, we have found that the US based implant companies provide excellent products. Feel free to discuss the options of implants and warranties with your Board Certified Plastic Surgeon. Your physician will help you choose which implant is right for you.Best wishes.
