I had lipo with Dr. Clay Alexander a few years ago. I will start by saying that I was lean to begin with but the sales staff (Karen ?) sold me on the idea that my "donut" area of my abs could very well be addressed and that I'd have phenomenal results. Updated on 16 Jan 2021: In 2016 I had that tiny donut area spot around my Belly button but the staff said it would be such an easy fix so I went from being a “facials” patient to a “Lipo” patient. It was in one of the rooms and I was in excruciating pain and when it was done, I ended up with unevenness, deep holes and a Tara Reid tummy. I then became more critical of my body; taking fat here to try and harvest there. I should have sought out an expert that I’d followed back then but he’s in L.A and I wanted someone local to me in Texas. I waited and eventually found Dr. Setty who was able to help me get closer to where I was before it all started. It has taken quite some time so I want to encourage others to do their homework. Make sure the surgeon who is operating on you is board certified in plastic surgery not those who did OB one day then decided to be surgeons the next (while you’re paying the price of their On the job training). In the end they might save you a buck or two over a plastic surgeon but it’ll cost you so much more when you’re stuck with a botched surgery.
