I started seeing Dr. Weyer about a year ago when I started noticing spots on my face getting darker and larger in size. He was able to diagnose, treat and follow up in a timely manner without the longer wait times in between diagnosis to treatment and received the help I was looking for. He's a GREAT doctor. He is thorough, polite and professional and was concerned that I understood what he was explaining to me about my condition. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a dermatologist. In addition to this, his office staff is also really helpful and polite. No complaints.
My experiences with Dr. Weyer are always positive. He is professional yet pleasant in his manner. With four other people in my family with cancer--two with skin cancer--I'm a bit on edge about my own condition, but I feel quite at ease knowing that Dr. Weyer has me in his care.
I have total faith in Dr. Weyer and his staff they are an amazing office always so professional and confident in their knowledge. THANK YOU Dr. Weyer and staff for everything you have done for me so far cant wait to see my outcome.
Dr. Weyer is outstanding! Answers all questions. Takes his time explaining what needs to be done and why. Very professional. He could give other physicians lessons in how to treat patients...yes, he is that good.
Dr. Weyer is great. He listened to my concerns and gave me treatment options. I had a lipoma removal done last week. It was quite big. Other than it still being sore due to how big it was, I think he did an excellent job. It already looks so much better. It didn’t take him long and he knows what he is doing.
Totally positive. Dr.Weyer is extremely knowledgeable and I could tell I was being cared for by a true expert. Nurse Sandy was also superb. This was my first Mohs surgery and I had heard a few horror stories about other doctors, so I was very pleased with the care I got from Dr. Weyer. I hate to admit it, but I actually enjoyed the procedure and would not hesitate to go back for another, or refer people to him. He makes it interesting and tells you everything he plans to do.
I have the utmost confidence in Dr. Weyer. He took a personal interest in me, answered all my questions in terms I could understand, and was available 24/7. His staff and assistants were kind, considerate, and helpful, prior to, during, and after surgery. I have recommended him to two thers. He takes
IPL for African American skin can be challenging to treat, especially for the darker skin tones. You may end up with more complications than success. Typically I treat patients with darker skin tones with topical treatments and a series of chemical peels before laser or IPL devices. All the best! Dr. Christopher Weyer, Tucson, AZ
Yes, it's a normal mole. It doesn't need to be removed unless it is becoming irritated from combing your hair. If it becomes darker or grows, then it may warrant an evaluation by a dermatologist.
Hello, it appears to be either an irritated seborrheic keratosis or a nevus sebaceous. Both are benign lesions, but on rare instances the nevus sebaceous can develop into a basal cell carcinoma. Therefore I may warrant another evaluation by your dermatologist.
Yes, it is a mole or nevus. Regarding removal, there is no topical treatment. They can be surgically removed by shaving or cutting and stitching by a professional. However, your moles are benign in appearance and no treatment is necessary. If you do wish to have them removed for cosmetic purposes, I recommend you speak with your local dermatologist.
The lesion is likely benign and could be a keratosis, which is a benign thickening of the outer layer of the skin. It is not likely of any concern unless it doesn't heal after a few weeks or grows and becomes darker. To help it heal, just Vaseline and a bandage is needed.
