IM FINALLY DOING IT! 32 years old, mother of 5 all breastfed children, I am all done having kids. For years I've been thinking about getting a BA. I've always been an A-B cup with a flat looking chest due to weight lifting and never ever having a full chest since I was younger. I'm going for a more natural fuller look and I know I am in great hands with Dr. Kelly, his bedside manners are amazing and his staff is fantastic! All my worries and concerns were heard and addressed and I feel more than ready...i had my consult and have been waiting about 2 months for the day to come im beyond excited to get this done and to feel more confident....just 3 more days :)

I had my surgery today! My exact implant was 415ccs Natrelle SRF (smooth round full) on both sides because I'm pretty symmetrical and I didn't need 2 different cc's on either side for reference I am 5'6" 149lbs my original cup size was barely fitting a 34 A. Dr. Kelly, the nurses and staff were absolutely incredible! Everyone that sat down and spoke with me, took there time. I didn't feel rushed and everything was explained so I didn't feel uneasy or nervous at all! I still have yet to see what they look like currently. Once i came home I slept for another couple hours and now its been its been about 4 1/2 hours post surgery and I'm still feeling some pain but it's not unbearable....and i didn't feel nauseous afterwards. I'm waiting a day or 2 before I remove the surgical bra and at that point I'll post before and afters :)

It was a rough night, just overall trying to find a comfy spot while sitting up was a struggle. The pain today seems more than yesterday but that was expected so I'm still continuing the heavier meds but I'm hoping not to be dependant on them for too long. Feeling tightness in my chest and my right side incision is more sore than the left. But I've continued doing the stretches every hour as instructed. And even took a shower. My husband will be home with me for the next week and he's been helping me with everything and I am so grateful that I have an amazing man.

By day 4 I was off all heavy medication and just strictly on Tylenol. I'm spending my days taking light walks, stretching once an hour and massaging 3 times a day to prevent encapsulation. I went to my 1 week post-op and I am free to wear just sports bras (nothing underwire) and my incisions are looking good. I am still swollen in-between my breasts (no surprise). I'm due for a 3 week post-op in a couple weeks but until then i still find it most comfortable sleeping upright with a neck pillow. But I'm feeling great. I will continue to update on my journey if it helps anyone.

The recovery has actually been great my only concern is that my left side is slightly higher than my right....at my 3 week check up they said not to worry and things will even out at 3 months post-op, so I just trying to be patient. But I was comfortable enough to sleep on my sides at 4 weeks, and I'm still massaging and using vitamin E oil to help the incision. I love how they are looking and feeling so far and am so happy that I did this!

Recovery is still moving like a breeze and my left side is finally almost caught up with my right side. They look and feel so natural. I now feel comfortable wearing normal bras and measuring at a 34D (I was a 34A). Still the best decision ever :)
