Best candidates for CoolSculpting?

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

The majority of people who are overweight, but otherwise in good, stable health, are not on
blood thinners and don’t have negative physiologic reactions to cold temperatures are potential
candidates for CoolSculpting as long as there is sufficient soft fat just below the skin
(“subcutaneous” fat).
If you are overweight, have tight skin and cant “pinch an inch” of subcutaneous fat, then you are
probably not a candidate for CoolSculpting.
I hope that information helps in your quest for health, wellness and a trimmer you!

Laser hair removal requires multiple sessions over months and occasional stubble is not unusual, but constant stubble is not typical. There are a lot of variables to successful laser hair removal. In order to reduce the variables and to help ensure the most effective, predictable and safest results (with any laser), seek out a facility that has on-site, experienced and expert physician supervision (preferably a skin expert such as an aesthetic dermatologist), skilled staff and updated, state of the art equipment. I hope that information helps in your quest for health, well and smooth skin!

Sorry to hear you are having discomfort! It is impossible to have a better understanding of why you might experience that without a proper medical evaluation, either from the provider who removed the lesion, or for sure, from a Board Certified Dermatologist - your foremost skin expert. All the best to your skin health and wellness!

What a great question! The best answer would be from your personal Dermatologist who knows your skin health and medical history in the light of the complex interplay of lasers and the pharmacology of minocycline. Try again and reach out to your Dermatologist. All the best to your skin health and wellness!

First, congratulations on your weight loss. What an amazing accomplishment and display of hard work and dedication! Good candidates for the CoolSculpting® procedure are generally within 30 lbs. of their ideal weight, but still have unwanted fat in targeted areas. Based only on the information you have provided here, you would appear to be a candidate. Without knowing your medical history, I cannot guarantee that you will be approved for the treatment, as there are other factors that go into the process of clearing a patient. I recommend you visit a Certified CoolSculpting® Provider for a full assessment. Best of luck to you on your journey!

In general there should not be any contraindications with corticosteroids, decongestants, antihistamines and Botox. Nasal decongestants such as SUDAFED may even be beneficial to the individuals that normally bruise easily. Be sure to consult your expert dermatologist or board-certified physician, and disclose your medication before injections.

Thank you for your question! I am sorry to hear you are experiencing problems with your left eye. Botox wears off in 3-4months, so it should not be permanent damage from a Botox treatment. I recommend consulting with an expert Ophthalmologist (for a full eye exam) and an Aesthetic Dermatologist after following up with your injector.

Advantages of Botox at young age?

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

Hi there! Thanks so much for your inquiry! If you are 18 or older Botox is a very plausible treatment for you. Dependent upon an individual's genetics, anatomy and medical history Botox can make a significant difference. Overall, there is evidence that neuromodulators can help with aging and vanish the side effects of aging. My recommendation is to see an expert dermatologist or a physician of aesthetic medicine, first and foremost, so you can be evaluated as an individual patient/Botox candidate.

Age spot removal options? (Photo)

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

Thanks so much for your question! Sorry to hear about your difficulties with discoloration and pigmentation. Melasma is often affected by hormones and from your medical history it is plausible for the spot to be melasma; however, I would recommend for you to check with an expert Dermatologist for a diagnosis. If it is melasma there are several topicals/prescriptions and possibly even certain types of lasers that can be used to treat and mitigate the discoloration.

Best Wishes!

Bruising of that sort does happen very occasionally, but rarely is of any medical consequence.

Always inform your physician injector of any unexpected aspects of your treatment, and, in this case, followup with the physician injector to see if you are a candidate for the use of ARNICA in order to expedite the resolution of your bruise.

Thanks for your question and picture.

Best Wishes
