Christian Kirman, MD

I had three procedures done with Christian Kirman, MD on Aug. 22, 2022. I had abdominoplasty (tummy tuck), mastopexy (breast lift and reduction) and brachioplasty (arm lift). I am already delighted with the results at 5 weeks post op. Dr. Kirman's staff are great. He has a calming and competent bedside manner. His work speaks for itself (see post op pics). My tummy still has some swelling which will continue to go down in coming months. My scars are already fading fast. I feel good. Having all three procedures done at once was a little much. The recovery for the first week was tough given that both my abdominal core and arms were affected, getting up out of bed was hard! But all in all, absolutely no regrets. I knew I was only going to be willing to go under the knife once and was grateful that because Dr. Kirman works with an exceptional PA in the OR, he was able to accommodate all three procedures I wanted done in one surgery.

I chose Dr Kirman based on a few stellar reviews on Yelp - terrible mistake. I should have done my homework more thoroughly. If you are looking for a basic breast augmentation or anything that doesn’t require an aesthetic eye- attention to detail, symmetry etc - Dr. Kirman is your guy. However if you do want those things I would highly recommend saving your time and money and going to a different surgeon and here is why: I came to Dr Kirman for a breast lift and revision to fix the work of a previous surgeon out of country in November 2019- in hindsight I was much better off - I wish I could go back into time living with that kind of regret is terrible. I paid his fees and scheduled out my surgery in December 2019 for around $8k. My recovery was great, stitches healed nicely just had a few sutures that needed to be removed. Slowly as i healed o realized he had not fixed the issue of my nipples being so high that I couldn’t wear anything without them popping out, very inconvenient. He agreed to do a revision- but I would have to pay the surgery center fees and anesthesiologist again for $1700. Not ideal, especially in the middle of a pandemic, when it’s to fix something that should have been addressed the first time around but I chalked it up to maybe he just needed to make a few small adjustments. We scheduled my revision for November 2020. Day of my surgery i was hesitant and told him I really wanted him to make sure he did everything he could so I wouldn’t have to come back a third time because obviously taking time out having to heal from a major surgery like this easy. He promised me and assured me it would be fine. It was not fine. The minute I came out recovery I knew it was off. And I told him immediately. He completely botched the tissue under both my armpits so that i woke up with fat tissue protruding where the bra strap goes. He gave me the most unflattering silhouette to the point where no bra would fit due to abnormal shape and I had to spend a whole year wearing nothing but sweatshirts and having to buy a whole wardrobe of clothes that I could wear without my mangled chest being visible. Absolutely horrifying. I have been been so depressed the last year, it affected all aspects of my life - and the only thing I was looking forward to was him fixing it - and him still wanting more money for it? The sad part is I wouldn't even mind paying if I knew I would walk away happy but to go under the knife a THIRD time and ending up paying a whole $5k over my initial quote for his shortcoming as a surgeon is so frustrating and heartbreaking. Leaving this review in hopes to save another soul from the torment caused to me by this doctor. Please be aware

I recently had a breast lift (donut lift) with implants done last Monday...so far i am VERY pleased with the results and it’s only day 5...Dr. Kirman is a skilled artist....I’ve seen his work on 2 other friends/family, and both had double mastectomies with implants. I choose him because he worked a miracle on them and you can’t even tell a scalpel was near them! They’re amazing...i can’t wait to see my new boobs few weeks down the road, so far, they look amazing! I wanted to write this review because i couldn’t find one or him when i was browsing this site. I feel he deserves to have lots of positive reviews....If your in the east Bay Area, i highly recommend him!

I'm starting my journey on getting my body back and better then ever I began my search 2 years ago after my last baby my body started to get out of shape I didn't know how to find a dr until i found this Site Real self and it gave me so much info about Dr so my first Dr was Dr Duran in the DR but i thought the flight was a little to long to flight back after surgery hurting so i went with Dr Ghurani and I hope he is everything I hope him to be An his staff is on top of things i had problems with getting in contact with them over the phone but they email you very fast. I was lucky and blessed i found a dr in walnut Creek California and he is great my good friend got her bbl done by him 2 months ago an her results are wonderful . And its the same price 6900 so thats even better .. Because Im close to my family and Ill be in my home and I found a massage therapist is San Leandro that do drainage massage after surgery care so im set ... I originally was going to go a Dr in Miami Dr Ghurani only because I wanted to Miami prices$$ and a snatched waistline. I had paid a 500 dollar deposit and everything I was my way. But after I got to thinking how far Miami was to go have a surgery I reconsider.. An I founded a great Dr with the Miami prices now lets how he snatches this waist .An after also seeing. Updated on 23 Apr 2018: I wanted to show you ladies how my results are coming along this is the first time I took my faja off .I wanted to see how things was coming along .. Im happy so far.. I think Im going to need a Tummy Tuck which I already knew after having 6 babies but he took my stomach down good.. Updated on 11 May 2018: So I have been sitting down great the last week Im 1 month post tomorrow and this the first time I put on some pants my booty not as big as I wanted it but I love my results .. But I will be getting more hips and a Tummy tuck and more Lipo...Im still wearing my garments and I have lost a little weight I want to loss more weight before my next Sx about 10 to 15 pounds ... For 1 this Dr did not do a Bbl He didnt put fat into my butt and this is what I paid for he actually put fat in my hips and my upper butt snd one of my hips are bigger then the other.. I was wondering why I didnt have no incisions under my butt in the butt creases by your leg after I started doing more research I notice how every one who gets a bbl has theses incisions bit I didnt .. Also I was the last patient of the day so I think he rushed and didnt do his job .. An Ive been depressed for 2 months straight.. Now Im saving up money for another surgery I wanted my first time to be a great experience but it was horrible .. I dont recommend this Dr to curvygals because he doesnt know what to do .. An he should be honest an say so.. He never told me to lose weight and come back he told me I would be fine is his exact words .. I was 210 pounds .. He never weighted me or nothing.. Be aware of these kind of Dr he knew I was desperate to have a better body .. So now after 3 months Im on a Hcg diet and saving money for another surgery . An I told him how one of hips were bigger he told me it wasnt at first then he said it's a easy fix wow ok .. Do research ladies .. I should've went to miami like I wanted .. But I didn't want to travel alone..
