After having gastric bypass in 2016, I have successfully lost 120 lbs. Although losing the weight has been great it of course as left me with pounds of sagging skin. Last August I underwent a tummy tuck and bilateral arm lift. My results have been amazing. I am now looking at doing the last two areas which is my breast and thighs. The thighs have been approved by my insurance so I will not have to pay out of pocket for them. My breast augmentation of course will be out of pocket, but at this point my surgeon wants to see me again to see if a lift with implants in the road to go. I have been reading a lot of reviews and it seems like women with a similar body type with similar looking breast 50% had a lift with implants so I’m majorly confused. I also plan to be off work for 3 weeks to recover, does that seem reasonable? My appointment is this Friday April 12th 2019, with surgery scheduled for July 10th 2019. Ahhhh! I am so overwhelmed right now. Any words of advise or wisdom? Updated on 1 Jul 2019: I need just a word of advice from those who have been through this surgery. My PS says I may need a lift, but he won’t know until we place the implants let them settle into place and re-evaluate in a few months. Has anyone had a successful outcome without a lift with breast similar to mine?
Looking forward to this combined surgery, was something I've wanted for a long time. I'm thrilled it's finally happening. I feel no nervousness, no apprehension. Thankfully I have both a high tolerance for pain and great faith in the medical industry. I have successfully kept my weight off since weight loss surgery in December of 2007. I am divorced with three grown sons. Professional wrestling is my passion. Updated on 30 May 2017: Had weight loss surgery almost ten years ago, and finally decided to change my appearance where I needed it most. I didn't like looking at myself in the mirror without clothes on. I wish I could have done this sooner. I'm thrilled with my procedures! I have absolutely no regrets, none. Zero. I am looking forward to wearing a two-piece bathing suit for the first time...ever. i may even get a belly button ring!
