Hi, The standard Nu derm package doesn't contain retinol, it needs to be purchased separately. It is however integral to anyone embarking on the Nu derm journey as it is required to increase epidermal turnover i.e. make the outer layer of your skin shed off, removing old pigmentation and fine wrinkles and to allow hydroquinone to infuse deeper into your dermis (middle layer of your skin). You have the option of tretinoin in 0.025%, 0.05% or 0.1%. I personally always suggest the highest strength (0.1%) because your skin's going to peel with all of them, so you'd might as well maximise your results. It is also more cost effective for you to purchase the 0.1% strength. Best wishes, C Patel
