Dr. Cheryl Perlis is a masterful artist who literally took of 10 years when she performed botox and fillers to my face. Her injections were virtually painless and she took the time to carefully listen to me before she did the injections. I highly recommend her to anyone seeking anti-aging fillers and botox.
As a cosmetic surgeon it was hard to find someone who I could trust with my face. Dr. Perlis has delivered consistent and natural results everytime with my botox and fillers. she keeps me in check when I ask her for more fillers and I love that about her. She diagnosed my hypothyroidism and has helped me keep my hormones in place. I'm very happy with my treatment and results.
Price point for me meant Botox only. The first use of fillers and botox together had amazing results! What a disservice I had done by "saving money" and only using Botox. Dr. Perlis never pushed the use of fillers; I was a loyal Botox user. Adding in the fillers has made the results so much softer, smoother and has lasted over 8 months so far. Dr. Perlis's touch was very pain light and with no downtime and minimal if any bruising! I need to head back in for a minor touch up.....
I really love my Juvederm results! I'm new to facial fillers (I did Botox before) so I was hesitant at first, but Dr. Perlis made me feel very comfortable and she took the time to answer all of my questions. My results ended up looking very natural - not overdone at all which I REALLY appreciated. I highly recommend Dr. Perlis to anyone who could use a little "lift". Her office and staff are lovely as well. Great experience, thank you.
I had thyroid problems for years before moving to the Chicago area. When I moved here I had deal with government doctors telling me that I did not have a problem with my thyroid and needed depression medicine, not thyroid treatment. This was infuriating to me! I found Dr. Perlis who agreed they were only treating what my insurance would cover, not me as a person. She properly treated my thyroid and introduced me to HCG weight loss. I had heard of it before, but was much more comfortable doing through Perlis Wellness Center because it is medically supervised and I knew would be the real thing. I lost 24 lbs in one month and it taught me how to eat and really live! Her staff was completely supportive along the way and I felt like they were always available to answer my questions. What's more is before I visited Dr. Perlis I was doing way too much. She treated my hormones as well, which I had no idea would be a problem since I am only 30, but they were depleted. Thanks to Dr. Perlis, after close to a year of trying, I will soon be having my first baby!!! I am convinced had I never gone to see Dr. Perlis I would not be starting my family now. Please don't concede to what conventional doctors tell you. Listen to yourself and me :) Go to Perlis Wellness Center!!!
It is possible that the tearing is occurring from the pressure from the juvederm product. Most of the time, this goes away, as the product settles. Since it is may, I would suggest that if is continues to bother you, that you can have a small amount of the product dissolved, just enough to relieve the pressure on the tear duct area.
There is a lot of filler placed in to your lip, which maybe the reason that you are having so much swelling. I would suggest that you use another experienced injector, who may use another technique like the cannula, which may cause less bruising. Also using less product may help as well, more is not always better, and your body may not be able to tolerate too much product all at once. I would still continue your arnica. Also adding Quercetin- which is a supplement that can help with swelling. It can be purchased at whole foods.
This area commonly bruises, and you can get some redness as well, with that said, I think it would help to use arnica montana( extra strength) to help with the bruising. I would suggest that you take it as directed for the next 5 days. Unfortunately, the bruises can take up to 10 days to resolve. It will look very good, and well worth the bruises in the long run. Buy a good quality concealer to help cover them up.
Since I do not have an entire picture of your face, it is difficult to an adequate assessment of your face. Sagging of the corners of your mouth usually involves loss of volume from the cheeks as well. I would start by replacing volume in the cheeks, using Restylane lyft which can be used deeper and gives great support. Then after that, I would use Restylane Lyft at the corners of your mouth as well. When evaluating the face, I always like to do a global assessment.
In general, I would not judge your lips at this point, it takes a good 2 weeks to let the product settle in and for your lips to heal. If then you see some uneven parts on your lips, you have 2 choices. 1. Add more product, or 2. dissolve some. In general I would add because the doctor will have more control of the ultimate results. Also remember that in general, each side of our face is not exactly the same, but if it ends up looking very different than it should be corrected. Have patience with yourself and try not to look at them so much, healing is a process, it takes time. I think your doctor did a nice job.
