I did this as a gift for myself. I wasn't sure how much it would improve anything. I was pleasantly surprised by my results. It actually removed most of my puppet lines. I didn't realize how bad my face was until after I saw the before and after pictures. I highly recommend this procedure it is well worth the money.
Dr. Geer is so kind and compassionate and her staff is the same. I felt completely taken care of from start to finish. The results have been amazing and everyone keeps asking me what I did to my face! Now I'm going to do my stretch marks!
I was a little skeptical before I had a "Halo" treatment. WOW!!! If only i would've done this sooner. My results were better than Dr. Geer described they would be before my treatment. During my followup visit, Dr. Geer took 'after' pics (exactly the same - without make-up/hair pulled back/pics taken). Then, she showed me my before pictures. I was dumbfounded and delighted!!! It's an amazing procedure. There was zero pain. I'm not sure why other offices' reviews exclaimed how painful the process was. I had a little bit of swelling but slept well that night and went to work the next day like normal. If I were you, I wouldn't walk but I'd run to make an appointment with Dr. Cheryl Harris Geer. My favorite aspect is the caring and gentle service I received from her and her staff. They are top notch. Dr. Geer called me a few times for followup to see how I was doing. There are a few musts: avoid sun exposure, moisturize often, no exfoliating, and drink lots of water. Dr. Geer has much experience and passion for sharing this with all her patients. So, if your're contemplating surgery, DON"T. It's not necessary. Thanks Dr. Geer for changing the way I feel about my looks at 55! About 3 months later I received a BBL (non-ablative) procedure. It's been about 6 weeks and I'm still improving. Skin is clear. Texture is smooth. Deep wrinkles have all but disappeared. My friends and colleagues are amazed at how relaxed and happy I look these days. Should I keep it a secret? Definitely not. Be well!
Dr. Geer is a caring and extremely thorough. As she has been an OBgyn for the past many years, she is now offering the most up to date lasers for vaginal therapy. After 3 treatments i can finally sneeze, cough and do jumping jacks with not peeing my pants...truly life changing after childbirth and menopause. Highly recommend !!! Love her new office on the lake in Westlake Village.
Dr. Geer is a wonderful doctor. She takes such great care with her patients, is thoughtful and educational. I got the Halo laser facial and I keep getting compliments on how great my skin looks, that it’s glowing and bright. On average, people guess that I am five years younger than I am and I believe this facial has helped with that.
I have been seeing Dr Geer for a number of years for my gynecology needs. As I am in my mid sixties, it was important for me to have a doctor that clearly understands the changes women go through. She has my hormones in balance, I feel great, energetic sleep better, etc., as well she has treated other issues with great success. I have recently had her perform the Diva Vaginal Laser Therapy, to enhance my sexual enjoyment and comfort level. She explained the procedure thoroughly and I was very comfortable during all 3 of the treatments. And the best part, it is working! My husband & I have found a new enjoyable intimate life! I highly recommend Dr. Geer. She also has a location in Camarillo, CA
This was the worst decision I made in my life. I had a HALO Laser treatment for my Melasma and Freckles. I wanted to get BBL but she convinced me of getting HALO instead which is more expensive. I don't have a lot of Melasma but Dr. Geer pretended she knew what she was doing and now my skin is destroyed. She was not honest with me right from the beginning. She said that there is no downtime with this treatment. She said it doesn't hurt, it will be like a sunburn, but this is so painful like a 3rd-degree burn. She said I can wear makeup right after the treatment (it is even written on their flyer) but there is no way you can wear makeup, even on the 4th or 6th day you can't wear makeup. She said she can treat the acne in the event of a breakout post-treatment but then when my acne started popping out, she said she can't. She would use high faluting words to sound so smart that way you won't question her credibility. Now I have to use a very thick concealer to cover up the damage she has caused me. She even badmouths nurses who offer HALO. I can't remember how much I paid anymore because she wants $2,600 and gives a discounted price of $2000 plus plus plus... lab-test, moisturizer, nectar, hydroquinone, cleanser, etc. etc. etc. which will go up to $3,500.I was very upset because now, my entire face has melasma plus the scars she left. Apparently, shes an OB-GYN offering HALO. Now she's referring me to go to a dermatologist. I should have believed my first impression. She has medical assistants who said that they also had HALO but their skin is so dull and dry and aging prematurely. This is just to warn you all.
Dear Pam211, I am sorry that you are suffering. The key to a cure is getting a specific diagnosis, knowing exactly what is wrong. It sounds like your current doctor is trying. However, if you are not getting resolution of your problem, you may want to consider getting an in person second opinion and being re-examined. It will help if you can define the location of the discomfort. The differential diagnosis ( list of things it may be ) is different depending on whether the discomfort is coming from the vagina internally or the vulva externally. You may want to try mindfully observing it when it does occur, just sit quietly focused on your breath and observe what you feel. If the discomfort is from the outside ( vulva), a labial biopsy could clarify what the diagnosis is. This is done in the office with local anesthetic and is usually only minimally uncomfortable. Seborrheic Vulvitis is rare. This will help to rule it out. Be sure that they know what medications you have been using since this can affect the pathology ( lab analysis ) of the biopsy. If the discomfort is from the inside of the vagina, that is good information for your doctor to know. Because you had a Mona Lisa vaginal laser, seeing a Board Certified OB/GYN with experience in vaginal laser should serve you well. Take Care, Dr. Cheryl Harris Geer, D.O., F.A.C.O.G.
