I have had my experience with Dr.Stucken, Chaz More than a wonderful . I have been visited several doctors, but they have not been convinced me because they dont listen to me,I had a lot of concerns about my rhinoplasty especially I have four problems in my nose. When I visit Dr.Stucken, Chaz first time we discussed every thing abut the surgery and I get enough time to ask about every thing, Dr explained to me all I need to know about my surgery, such as the process ,probability of practical success, and Post-Process Period. So,I write this review after 9 months from the surgery I am very happy and great confidence in myself. My health condition has become better and my breathing has improved very good. I would like to say thank you so much Dr.Stucken,Chaz for your good ethics and to help in crossing this experience safely.
It was excellent! Dr. Stucken really knows what he's doing and I have nothing but the utmost respect for him! He's very confident in his abilities as a Doctor, determined to get the best solutions to the problems at hand, and so much more!
I was referred to Dr. Stucken from my local ENT with a deviated septum and bilateral collapsed nasal valves. I was very frustrated with my breathing and I had visited another doctor who did not empathize with me. Dr. Stucken has an incredible bedside manner (probably one of the best I've experienced), takes his time with examinations, and listens to you on a personal level. He is very personal and informative, and explained everything he could do for me. He was never in a rush and was very thorough at every appointment. He customized minor cosmetic changes with the major functional corrections of my nose which I was very appreciative of. I would recommend Dr. Stucken to anyone who is having difficulties with nasal breathing or with the cosmetic appearance of their nose. His staff was awesome to work with - especially pre and post operative. I am so thankful that I chose to go through with this. My breathing has improved immensely!
There may be surgical or non surgical techniques that can help with the scarring and distortion of the nasal anatomy. I recommend that you see a board certified facial plastic surgeon for a complete evaluation of your nasal anatomy. The cartilaginous support of your nose may have been affected by the surgery. Cartilage grafts could potentially help you, but it is difficult to say for certain without photos or a thorough examination. Good luck!
There are many different ways to treat the small blood vessels associated with rosacea. Using a pulse duration of 10ms with a lower energy setting will shrink the blood vessels WITHOUT inducing purpura or a bruise. Both settings that you mentioned above will work, but the one that your laser technician suggested may have a lower risk of bruising you, getting rid of any downtime or recovery associated with the procedure.
Thank you for your question-- you've obviously done your research! Patient's with rosacea do tend to have a slightly longer recovery time compared to patients who do not have rosacea. The issue with the recovery is that you will remain pink longer than other patients. Most patients do not go out to major social events during the first week after the procedure. This is mostly due to redness and the need for Aquaphor applications. Fortunately, you should be able to use mineral based make-up between 5-10 days after the procedure (depending on the laser settings used and your skin's response). With a light layer of mineral based make-up, you can cover up the pinkness and feel comfortable at a social event. If the pinkness lasts for a prolonged time period, you may ask your surgeon about a pulsed dye laser treatment that can help the pinkness fade faster.Good luck!
