I can't hardly express how grateful I am. Seriously, Dr. Fatseas is the most compassionate doctor, of any discipline, I have ever had. I was initially interested in another procedure for facial acne scarring, but after he listened to my concerns, he recommended ablative resurfacing. After having had many previous laser, and other treatments (e.g. micro dermal abrasion, non ablative resurfacing laser, etc) from other medical practices , I was skeptical about spending money on the procedure, so I said I'd think about it. He allowed me to come back for a second consult, afterwards, I was convinced to book ablative resurfacing. Ablative resurfacing is serious enough to be considered a surgery. Traditionally (such as in my case), ablative resurfacing requires some weeks (patience is key) of downtime (whereas fractionally ablative procedures require just a few days), redness for several weeks later, and zinc oxide (physical) sunblock. There are, of course, risks associated with fully ablative resurfacing, but in my case, I would do it again without hesitation! Serious scars require serious resurfacing! Downtime for me was not an issue, because I had such severe acne scarring. What most doctors don't seem to understand, is that the debilitating psychological and emotional scars that result from severe facial acne scarring, are just as deep, or perhaps, FAR deeper, than the facial scarring itself. Thus making it a MEDICAL IMPERATIVE for people like me. This makes whatever downtime, inconvenience, or discomfort that may result from the procedure irrelevant to those of us that know what these type of scars do to a person. It took some aggressive treatments to get me closer to where I should be, but Dr. Fatseas displayed generosity, patience, kindness, and willingness to help bring the contour back to my face! Unlike most other doctors, Dr. Fatseas understood what I needed, and what ablative resurfacing would mean for me! Thank You for everything Dr. Fatseas!
Great experience all around. Dr. Fatseas and his staff were very attentive to my needs. He had an excellent bedside manner and I can't say enough about the results I received from the procedure. I would highly recommend them to my friends and family!
After having my son I was left with some extra skin and tons of stretch marks on my stomach. Today I visited the Rejuvenation Health and Wellness Center in Franklin, TN for my first laser treatment. I have two more to go and will hopefully see results soon. I will keep you all updated :) Feel free to ask me any questions as I go through this process!
I'm a 37 year old mother of twins and have never really struggled with my weight but as I get closer to 40, more of my weight goes to my tummy. When I went in for my consultation with Dr. Fatseas he was very helpful and informative. The procedure itself was pretty much a blur even though they used local anesthesia. I had my upper and lower abdomen, hips, flanks, and arms done. Yesterday I went for my first lymphatic massage and it wasn't the most pleasant but it didn't hurt. My biggest problem has been nausea and i have pills for that too. Just not eating much. Still sore but I can tell that the pain is starting to subside. I'm excited to see what I'll look like in 2 weeks. Updated on 15 Jun 2013: Before and after pics!!! Updated on 28 Jun 2013: I should have mentioned in my very first review that I had slimlipo on my outer thighs, upper and lower abs, flanks, and upper arms. So far my progress consists of less bruising and swelling. I still feel very "tight" in my upper and lower abs and am starting to be able to feel my skin again, although I'm still pretty sensitive. I've received 9 post op lymphatic massages which were included in the price of the procedure as well as 2 medical grade compression garments. I wore the compression garments 24/7 for the first three weeks and now am wearing them 12 hours a day. If I'm not wearing the compression garment and I exercise I do notice a small amount of swelling. The only concern I have at this point is the area under my bra line. This area was blended with the rest of my stomach but seems swollen or fat. I'm not too concerned as I know the most change with slimlipo comes about two months post op. I am posting more pics so that everyone can see if I'm progressing at all. Updated on 3 Mar 2017: When I started this review in 2013 it was way too early to review my results. This doctor was not a board certified plastic surgeon and my lipo while not horrible, did leave me with a lot of uneven places on my stomach and overall I was not happy with the results. I ended up doing a revision of that lipo plus a bbl.
Small white pimples can occur after laser treatments. They are frequently due to the skin glands being over stimulated by the intense pulsed light (IPL) of the laser. They typically resolve in several days. On occasion, they could be due to an infection and the patient should seek medical attention if the condition doesn't improve or worsens over several days. This is why it is important to have treatments performed in an establishment that has a medical physician director and/or owner of the practice that is available and present should the need arise.
There are several reasons why your Botox may not have worke The dosage may not have been correct for the muscle(s) you had treated. Various Botox injectors have been known to 'water-down' and dilute the Botox mixture to essentially make more money. There's no way for a patient to know this is happening unless they have a problem achieving good results. Excessive unethical dilution of Botox results in the Botox being less effective. BEWARE of any establishment that does not have a physician present to monitor the person doing the procedure. When in doubt, ask if a physician is present. Tennessee law mandates that a physician must be present and directly supervising a nurse for any injection of Botox or filler. Also, Tennessee law also states that a physician must monitor 10% of a nurse practitioner's or physician assistant's charts each month (and sign them) to insure they adhere to appropriate standards. Yet this is seldom done and the state does not have the resources to enforce this regulation. What is also little known about a nurse, NP or PA injecting Botox is that none of the companies making these products will sell them to anyone but a licensed physician. So physicians are purchasing the products and selling it to the aforementioned people and receiving an illegal kickback when they sell the product. If something goes wrong with the injection(s), most of the nurses, NP's and PA's do not carry malpractice insurance and the patient may have no recourse if there is a bad result. It is always best if you go to a reputable plastic surgery practice and the plastic surgeon performs all injections of Botox or fillers him or herself.
20 units of Botox may not be enough to adequately treat your forehead wrinkles. The dose of Botox required is directly related to the strength of muscle(s) needing treatment. The stronger the muscle, the more Botox required for correction
SculpSure is a PERFECT treatment for the inner thighs where the patient wants a reasonably small reduction in the area(s) that frequently rub against each other while walking.
Because of the wrinkles and volume loss of your face, you will need a combination of volume rejuvenation with filler(s) and Botox to prevent the advancement and worsening of your wrinkles.
