An amazing human being and skilled doctor; I had a gynecomastia with local anesthesia, apart from the anesthesia intake the procedure was totally painless. Dr. Sobti is specialized in all types of lyposuction procedures. It is visible that he knows what he is doing when he draws the chest, points to asymmetries, explains all steps of the surgery and the after care. The cost is absolilutely affordable especially to young men who feel unease with their breasts but cannot pay the cost of surgeries in the West. I paid 35 000 rupees, around 450 Euros, everything included. Don't expect a top-of-the art clinic but one that is open to Indians of all classes and foreigners with different types of problems requiring surgery (hand, foot, obesity, ryno, etc). The Dr. uses anti-septic and administers antibiotics via perfusion, with the goal of avoiding any bacterial infection. Dr. Sobti is an accessible person who creates empathy with the patient. I arrived in Delhi in the morning for a surgery in the afternoon. He sent someone to pick me up at the hotel (200 mt from the clinic), observed me the day after the surgery, gave all the postcare advice as well as the instructions to use the chest compression garment. Two days after my surgery he also asked about my state via email. It is good to see a skilled surgeon from a country where plastic surgery studies are well developed, loving his job and keen on helping people with concerns over their bodies, rather than making an inflated plastic surgery business accessible to just a few. Too soon to know the final result but from what I saw in the mirror at the end of the surgery, I trust my chest will be as I always wanted.

He is very considerate and kind doctor.The staff are humble and the prices compared to other clinic which would have performed same procedure he gave in reasonable price.I am further looking for the result of my liposuction.So far he is good Doctor to be referred. I got a lipo done and grafted the fat into my bum and hips. Very happy with the results but unfortunately the fat was absorbed by my body and I hardly have any fat elsewhere but that's no fault of the doctor. Never the less still happy with what I got :)

I was performed tunmnescent liposuction & gland excision over local anesthesia.Doctor is experienced ,gentle & reasonable.I am excited to see lipo results over 2 litres of fat was removed :-p .I personally recommend guys who have large amount of fat to prefer general anesthesia or with iv sedation to reduce little tingling effect however if u just want to shape go for local anesthesia.Doctor is very patient & genuinely listened to me that is reason I finalized him :-)

This surgery is the best bet for those males who are reasonably sure that the lump on their chest is not fat but they have a condition - medically termed as Gynecomastia.

It was a minimally invasive tumescent procedure, perhaps which is the best out there and involved liposuction(for fat removal - two incisions would be made below the shoulder) + gland removal(small incision is made below the areola). It takes around 2-3 hours and you would be under local anesthesia- i.e. you would not feel the pain, but would be able to see and sense what all is going on around you. The first two days are the most painful ones and you can practically join your office/college in 2-3 days.

I am writing this review as I feel this is the best way to inform the individuals like me, who want to have this surgery but don't have INR 55-60k, that there are great surgeons out there who would perform the same surgery, if not better, like the page1 google results of search -> Gynecomastia + Delhi, but at a much economical price(30k) and a more pleasant manner. I am one of those who was about to got to one of these page1 result doctors who would have charged me almost twice as much and treated me like just another customer lured by smart marketing.

P.S.- Please do post your experiences post surgery to spread the much needed awareness against the prevalent daylight robbery by certain Doctors who influence people's decisions through paid marketing.

Dr Charanjeev Sobti who is based on East Patel Nagar in new delhi, India carried out the scarless, minimally invasive, local anesthesia based surgery on me in his clinic. This was a revision surgery for me and first surgery was done by a doctor in Delhi who claimed he is the only one who did a tumescent based surgery for more than 1300 USD equivalent, gave me a pathetic result and left with my more psychological damage than I had before. Eventually, I searched around and found Dr Sobti who was like a stone's throw away from my house. The surgery was performed while I was fully awake, I went to his clinic after having light breakfast yesterday. He made me change the clothes and then injected the local anethesia while I was chatting with him all the time about everything under the sun. He waited for around 30 minutes and started doing the liposuction. He removed around 2 litres of fat from my side area and front area (while the earlier doctor only removed like 150 ml). Thereafter, Dr Sobti made me sit up checked my look and feel and again did another short run to ensure that no fat was left. He was very diligent and is a great professional. The reason I am writing this review is as I feel that a doctor like him is not very well marketed and anyone who is looking for a great male breast reduction doctor should definately meet him up. The way he spent time marking the areas and asking me what level of sculpting I wanted was really great. It gave me the confidence that he is a great doctor. I will post pictures soon.

For all those who chose to use him, be aware that it can be an effort to find his clinic in East Patel Nagar, so remember the address and look it up maps.google.com. He is like 10 minutes walk from the East Patel Nagar bus stand or from the metro station.

5 days into the surgery, I am healing very quickly, have had some itching in the areas and occasional pain however not feel like I did not have the surgery at all. I looked up lots of websites in this period and realized that Dr Charanjeev Sobti had used an advanced method of chest sculpting wherein the movements of the cannulla had a specific pattern. I could see what he was doing as the overhead surgical lamp glass was switched off and was a mirror through which I could look what was being done even in lying down state. I now realize that the first doctor from South Extension probably purposely left large amounts of fat on my chest sides plus did not sculpt the chest in a hope that I will come for revision and this will get him more business. Dr Sobti took considerable time in moving the cannula in a particular pattern.

********I am now better informed and for the benefit of all getting this surgery performed please note that the psychological impact of a non sculpted chest (without glands and fat) is as bad as as having classical large male gynacomastia. So please firmly discuss with your doctor that the end results should include chest include besides gland and fat removal. Males who have gynacomastia also have fatty tissue development on the chest sides particularly the lower chest area creating the impression of side boobs. Another problem that exists due to the glands and fatty tissues is that there could be retracted nipple or the nipple could have a downwards push even after the gland removal. Dr Sobti used a technique that I could not find on the internet but basically he ensured that the chest sides and the inner part of the chest sides (where we have our armpit area) is sculpted in a downward inclined fashion (like forming a V shape looking from side from top down). This created a slight push on the lower chest area lifting the chest up and creating a body builders look. Of course I have to start doing weight training to ensure that the loose skin tightens up fast. One final thing for all my friends out there, Dr Sobti carried out Cannula movement inclined with the top chest area which also shaped the chest very well. When you google up the words "Gynacomastia" and "Delhi", the names that pop on the first two three listings (some of these have videos), are the ones to be avoided as they are extremely expensive and one of them created the first bad result for me. Lesson learnt for me, the best marketed is not the best service provider.

Hi,
After long wait for many years and research I decided to go for gynecomastia surgery last year in april(6/4/2016) at Amulya Cosmetic Surgery Clinic, Delhi by Dr.Charanjeev Sobti.
I don't want to go in much details how, why things here, because what is done is done.
Now almost 1 year is gone, I am totally not satisfied with the results.
Condition is same or 95% what was initially before surgery.
Doctor had done liposuction but the gland under the nipple was not completely removed so nipples are still puffy and confidence level is same before the surgery.
I have followed all the post surgery instructions given by the doctor or upto 90% honestly.
Now I am again in search for a doctor who can make the things right this time.
I am going for a fat loss program here for 3 months, started from 104Kg. now 1 month is gone and I am 94kg as of today, height is 5'11''.
My aim this time is to go for 104kg to 80kg in 3 months and then go for the surgery.
I am trying to search a doctor again for the surgery
