So the office spent the time to get my REAL review removed from Yelp, which says a lot about how they do not want honest patient experiences made public. my consultation with Dr. Catherine Digiorgio was the worst experience I have ever had with any medical professional. She didn't know anything about certain laser procedures, so I'm guessing CO2 is the one they use there. When I made a comment that I had seen pictures of excellent results with certain lasers and such, she said that the pictures were probably fake. After looking at several of my skin issues, the one she was willing to do was CO2 laser on my face for $4,000. Yeah, no. I could not wait to get out of that office as the energy was just horrible. I was so traumatized by this visit that I almost cancelled the derm visit I had with another doctor who had a one year waiting list. I'm so thankful that I didn't cancel as EVERY ONE of the issues I brought up with this derm can be addressed and are being treated with different laser procedures. For the procedures she doesn't do, she sent me to another doctor who specializes in them. She totally flipped that bad consultation into a very positive medical experience. Oh, and it cost me $7.00 to park for thirty-four minutes in Brookline on top of the $150.00 consultation fee. Totally waste of time and money.
Congratulations on quitting smoking! Without seeing a photo, it is difficult to recommend which treatment is best. A lower face and neck lift will help with laxity and, if it is necessary, would provide you with the best result. It will cost more, but will be more cost effective than spending thousands of dollars on skin tightening treatments that may not provide you with improvement. If you are not a candidate for lower face and neck lift, dermal fillers or thread lifts are an option to lift the nasolabial folds and jowls. Lip lines are best treated with ablative lasers and botox. Remember if you can still make the movement, the line will return, so botox is an important addition to any treatment done to these lip lines. Fillers in this area are effective, but as you noticed, results are temporary. Good luck on your journey. And remember to always see a board certified dermatologist or plastic surgeon to receive the best possible treatment. Dr. DiGiorgio
It depends on how lifted you want your brow. Botox can provide slight and subtle lifting of the eyebrow if placed in the correct location, however, it is not a replacement for a surgical procedure if your goal is to have significantly higher eyebrows. Thread lifts can be used to lift the brow more drastically than botox and less invasively than surgery. Just remember to have an evaluation by a board certified dermatologist or plastic surgeon to receive the best possible care.
You have a natural feminine jawline with minimal fat that could be easily improved through kybella treatments. After those are completed, filler to the jawline on the sides of your face could be considered. I like to take a slow conservative approach and this is what I would recommend. Thank you Dr. DiGiorgio
