From the picture, it appears that you have male patterned hair loss. To be certain, I would advise getting an evaluation by a doctor specializing in hair loss. At that evaluation, it may be possible to determine if there are other potential causes for you loss. Because of your age, I would recommend medical treatment prior to even considering a hair transplant procedure. Propecia is the most effective treatment option, however you need to weight out the risks vs the benefits. Rogaine or Minoxidil is also another option, as well as laser therapy. PRP is an exciting new way to treat you hair loss and may be beneficial as well. I find the combination of the above medical options work best and recommend considering all of them together. Ideally, you could discuss this with your medical doctor and work out a treatment regiment that best suits your needs.
At seven days, it is very unlikely that you lost the follicle. Typically, the hairs with the scabs will fall off by one week after the procedure. The follicle is still intact under the skin and will product a new hair in about four months. If you are too aggressive washing your hair the first few days after the procedure, you may lose the follicle with the hair. A way to determine that, would be bleeding from that site. For patients that have persistent scabbing at one week, I recommend you take a bath, soak the grafted area under the water for 30 minutes and then shower. I would then gently scrub off the remaining scabs. If the scabs persist, repeat the soaking daily until they have fallen off. I find that most patients are reluctant to get to aggressive with shampooing, for fear of knocking out the follicle. One week after surgery, I have not had a patient lose any follicles.
Yes you can, however before you proceed with a procedure, you should be evaluated by a Physician. For example, you should be evaluated to be sure the loss isn't secondary to thyroid disease, an autoimmune disease, like Alopecia areata, or a scarring alopecia like Lichen Planopilaris. If these conditions are not the cause, the eyebrow transplant is an excellent option.
