I was referred to Dr Betancur by my dermatologist. After discussing my goals with Dr Betancur, he recommended Ultherapy, which was new to me. I've now seen him twice in the last year for this treatment. Super happy with the results and I will see him again.

Awesome experience, Dr. Carlos understood perfectly what I wanted and I’m very happy with the results.
All the process was easy and he took care of every detail after surgery, revisions and suggestion of how to get a better recovery.

I travelled all the way from New York city to Columbia for my surgery because Carlos is so fantastic. He is so warm and cares so much about his patients, and I am SO happy with my results. He completely changed my life and I could not recommend him more. From the consultation to the surgery to the follow up, the whole process was an amazing experience and I had complete trust and felt comfortable the entire time.

I had a procedure with the doctor less than 15 days ago, abdominal liposculpture with gluteal transfer, since my first consultation the trust and attention of the doctor was very professional and throughout the process and procedure he and his team did an excellent job, providing me security and trust. the results have been wonderful. It is recommended 100% be happy with my procedure.

I only gave him 2 stars because he's not the worst to look at, physically. Other than that, I'm glad I did not chose him to have surgery with. I was in Colombia looking to do a mommy makeover and discovered Dr. Betancur on the instagram(mistake). Not only did he quote me an absolutely ridiculous price (something like 13,500+ for mommy makeover) which in Colombia is astronomical (top doctors there get paid at mosttttt 6,500 for a top job, so he's got a lot of nerve trying to charge me double) but I asked him to do lip fillers, he insisted I pay cash ($500 USD, NY prices) you should see the travesty I was left with. First I asked him to use Juvederm but he used some weird off-brand... Second, I asked for a 2/3 ratio (a little smaller on top) he just did whatever he wanted because my whole top lip on the left side was swollen and my bottom lip somehow looked smaller (photos included) he continued tried to convince me he was the right doctor to do my surgery and I should just pay his asking price, calling my mom trying his best find the quickest way to wire my money from the US to his office. He said he'd even do me the huge favor of following me on instagram (what a treat hahaha) if I went with him. To add insult to injury he dodged all my calls when I asked him to fix my botched lip fillers. He offered no resolution, no refund, just stopped taking my calls. Not only did I pay top dollar, but I had to pay someone else to fix his botch job. On a petty side note, after he realized I wasn't gonna fall for his try on the "American tax" (which is very much a real thing) Dr. Betancur unfollowed me on instagram. I've never met a cockier doctor with a worse attitude and skewed practice. I chose a new doctor and am very happy :) do your research
