Fantastic experience! After visiting several offices and endless searches on the internet I decided to go with Dr. Bryon Bonebreak. Super experienced and patient! Dr. Bonebreak spent quite a bit of time answering my questions and making sure I was happy with the results! The staff was great and the location was convenient. They seemed to be really organized and prepared; I never waited more than ten minutes. I would definitely recommend him!
I did a web search cause my teeth have been all messed up all my life, I wish my parents would have made me get braces when I was young so I found Dr. Bonebrake and made an appointment, I went in and it was an awesome experience. I ended up getting Invisalign braces and I could not be happier. The whole process was great the doctors and the staff are very professional and knowledgeable.
Drs. Byron and David Bonebreak treated me as an adult to address two teeth that had never come in and have done a wonderful job. As these teeth are towards the front of my mouth, my smile never looked quite right prior to treatment as there were still baby teeth present where the permanent teeth did not come in. They took great care in bringing these impacted teeth into their proper positions while taking caution to protect the adjacent teeth during the process. I have been nothing but pleased with the courteousness of the staff and the wonderful bedside manner of both doctors and am thrilled with my new smile!
As an adult it can be a difficult decision to make when it comes to getting braces. Knowing that Invisalign may be an option, I sought out Dr. Bonebreak's care for treatment and I couldn't be happier with my decision. Dr. Bonebreak was extremely thorough in his review of the treatment and treatment progressed quickly and painlessly. Both Dr. Bonebreak and his son were very attentive and were always reachable when I had a question or a problem; they even came in a on Saturday when I had chipped my tooth and wouldn't have been able to see my dentist until the next week! They could have easily sent me elsewhere or had me wait until a week day but they were kind enough to come in on a weekend and address my problem, and for that I am truly grateful. With my busy schedule, the short wait times were much appreciated and the friendly staff was always very accommodating when I would have to reschedule last minute. I am extremely happy with my treatment outcome and would highly recommend Dr. Bonebreak to anyone seeking to improve their smile.
I first started Invisalign about 5 years ago, when it was still a relatively new procedure. Something that was NOT mentioned at all in any of the packets or pamphlets was the need for attachments on many of my FRONT teeth, in fact my orthodontist didn't even tell me what he was doing he just put them on there. As you can imagine I was absolutely furious, I called the next day to have them adjusted. I have had these attachments so sharp on some teeth that it has actually cut my gums and left sores. The whole APPEAL of Invisalign is that they are more aesthetically appealing than braces, that effect is ruined by attachments. Now for the actual experience after going through an entire box of Invisalign, my orthodontist tells me I need to wear a retainer!?! And when I inquire as to how long the answer is years. Are you serious? Sorry I don't want to wear retainers and other devices the rest of my life when i'm in my twenties. Since my initial Invisalign I've gone through a few other boxes, the only positive to this whole experience is how my insurance has handled the remaining treatments, very little personal cost. I think perhaps Americans are a tad bit obsessed with straight teeth in general, there is simply no reason to fix your teeth to conform to celebrity standards, when you could just be happy with your imperfections. Overall if you're looking for a permanent fix for your teeth and don't want to spend YEARS with an inadequate product, get real braces do your time and the results will be better.
Hello jenniferim! Teeth that have had root canals generally move the same as teeth that have not undergone a root canal with the exception of teeth that are fused to the bone (ankylosed) which sometimes occurs after trauma to a tooth. Teeth that are ankylosed will not respond to orthodontic forces. An orthodontist may determine with some certainty if a tooth is ankylosed by listening to the sound it makes when tapping on it. Should it not be evident if a tooth is ankylosed or not, it will become apparent a few months into orthodontic treatment if the tooth will not move.
Hello hunters13! A fixed retainer will only serve to maintain the current positions of your teeth. New removable retainers are limited in their ability to re-align the teeth as well. Returning the teeth to their full alignment may require limited treatment involving braces or clear aligners.
