My experience with Dr Burak and his wonderful staff could not have been better. From chatting online, to our consultation, right through to my surgery and aftercare the service provided has been 10/10. Dr Burak made me feel very welcome and relaxed during the consultation and listened to what I wanted, also offering his professional opinion. We agreed my face would not suit the typical ‘Turkey nose’ and I could not be happier with the result. Although swollen for a few months after surgery, many people couldn’t believe it when I told them I had rhinoplasty. I could not recommend dr Burak and his team more. Great experience. Had my rhinoseptoplasty 6 months ago. Doctor is very attentive and is quite a cool person :) I initially came with a request for a certain look (straight but longer nose) because I was terrified of my nose looking upturned - I had a really big and long nose before so anything too small caused me to panic. I am REALLY happy that Dr Burak has clearly explained to me that what I wanted just wouldn’t look good. Now I absolutely love my nose and my result is so natural my cosmetologist I go to for various procedures like botox has taken his contact details to give out to her clients because it is that good. His team are very nice and what I really appreciated is that they are very responsive - i’m a nervous person and after surgery I was of course panicking about my swelling and the assistant tirelessly dealt with me :) Overall, one of the best decisions of my life so far. I chose Dr Burak because of the nice impression he gave me over the video consultation because he was just super honest and down to earth, as at the time he didn’t have many reviews on reddit. I am very happy to see that now he is gaining popularity because he really deserves it :)

I had a rhinoplasty with Dr. Burak Alhan, and I wanted to write this review to share my strange story. At first I was frustrated after the procedure, I had a retracted nostril. (See Image). It was very obvious, and when I went home after I had a hard time dealing with it. I went to one of my best friends wedding and people were like what happened!?! I felt like I had to hide my face. I kept asking the doctor why he didn't make sure the left side was even during the surgery, or why there wasn't extra cartilage placed on that side to make it look normal, and his response was that he had rebuilt the entire interior of the nose and made both sides even on the inside. I didn't believe him because on the outside it didn't look like it at all. I seriously thought I was going to need a revision. Fast forward to two years later, I had a laser treatment on my skin. I have no idea how the laser worked to soften the internal scarring, but somehow it did and it reduced the overall bulbousness of my nose and now the nostril looks normal again. Finally! It made me realize that the doctor had in fact made my nose even during the surgery, he did his job the right way, but it was my scar tissue that somehow created the retraction on the nostril. Now that the scar tissue is softened, my nose looks good and I am happy with the final results! I would recommend this doctor, and also recommend that you give yourself time to see final results.

Dr. Alhan is a true professional. I had always wanted a nose job but hadn’t found THE doctor who made me feel confident enough to go through with it—until I found Dr. Alhan through a friend. From my first video consultation with him, I felt immediately comfortable. His assistant, Irem, was incredibly caring; she arranged my hotel and transport and answered all my questions. I had an over-projected nose with a hump, and Dr. Alhan carefully explained what was possible to achieve. I was thrilled to learn that it could be reduced. Before the surgery in December 2024, I met with Dr. Alhan again, and he took the time to walk me through the procedure and set realistic expectations. On the day of surgery, he was fully present, and afterward, he reassured me that everything had gone perfectly. I loved the results immediately! Unfortunately, I arrived in Istanbul feeling weak due to a low immune system and ended up catching a bad cold. Both Dr. Alhan and Irem took my symptoms seriously, even though they weren’t related to the surgery. They provided the appropriate medication and took great care of me, which made me feel much better. When the cast came off, I was so happy with the change! Dr. Alhan is amazing. I’m so grateful to have found someone who treats you as a person, not just a number, and genuinely cares about you. I wholeheartedly recommend him—don’t hesitate, just go for it!

Here are notes from my longer google review about what makes Dr. Burak truly an extraordinary doctor: • Kindness, attentiveness, and warmth – I felt so comfortable asking every question and voicing every concern. It took me 10 years to work up the courage to do this procedure, and Dr. Burak and his team continue to support me in every step of the journey – from my initial “research” stage until after I’ve traveled back home after the surgery. If I go back and count my questions, I’m sure I have surpassed the 100 mark. • Skillset and versatility – unlike the other surgeons in Turkey that I extensively researched, Burak tailors his technique and tools based on the patient case. He also has a robust exposure to thick skin and more complicated patient cases. This is extremely important with the complex anatomy each patient brings to the table to prevent complications or undesirable outcomes requiring costly revision. From my correspondence with over 15 doctors, I felt that many other surgeons in Turkey, with the volume of patients they get, pitched the same thing to all – Dr Burak is talented enough to tailor his techniques. • Genuine motivation and passion – Dr. Burak has a keen eye for what will serve his patients best and brought that energy to each of my appointments and to the operating theatre. • Respect for what makes “you” you – Dr. Burak’s brand is “natural and elegant.” He will not give you a nose that does not match your facial features. I had a 10/10 experience with Dr. Burak Alhan. I did extensive searching and landed on him as my surgeon out of a gut feeling. I’m SO happy I trusted my gut. From start to finish everything was perfect. His assistants responded to all my 100+ questions that I had almost daily for months leading up to the surgery. Being from Canada I was able to do a video consultation beforehand and again they took the time to answer any and all questions and concerns. The private transport was super helpful, they picked us up in a fancy Mercedes van, took to/from airport and all the appointments/hosptial. The day of arrival had an in depth consultation and never felt rushed. I wasn’t even aware I had a crooked septum which he fixed during surgery to help me breathe better. I had printed out a photoshop of what I wanted my nose to look like and gave it to him to refer to during surgery (3rd photo) As you can see my results are identical to that photo. His work was literal magic. I’m over the moon with my new nose, I couldn’t be any happier!

The best surgeon!! I am from the UK, I had a botched nose job in England, I decided to travel to Istanbul for a revision rhinoplasty. It felt scary because my situation was really bad and only a skilled surgeon with lots of experience could help me. Plus in the UK they make you believe that going to Turkey might be unsafe, which it can be if you go to the wrong places! Dr. Burak is a wonderful surgeon, his knowledge is big, he explained everything in so much detail and made me feel confident in my choice. He reassured that he wouldn’t be leaving the operating room without giving his 100%. That’s when I knew he was the one. I needed a total nose reconstruction, my nose had been ruined by the surgeon in England. Fast forward to now, 5 months post op, everything went well DESPITE my surgery being extremely tricky and high risk. This was only possible due to the skills of Dr. Burak. I can finally breath from my nose, and I look the prettiest ever (and I wasn’t even an aesthetic patient of his!) I’ll be forever grateful to him, he actually listens to your concerns yet is honest and real. Also, the clinic is the most stunning clinic I’ve ever seen, staff very friendly, I was taken care well by the hospital staff too. You won’t regret choosing Dr. Burak Alhan as your surgeon.

I am taking my research for plastic surgeons very seriously. Not easy to decide in Istanbul, where there are so many great doctors. Still, some of them stand out and I am very happy that Dr.Alhan was my doctor. Extremely knowledgeable, professional, experienced and mostly kind. I am now at 6 weeks from the surgery, I know is still a long wait for the final results, but first impressions were great. The changes are not drastically, which I was looking for, mostly from the side. Nobody even noticed I had a surgery, which is also amazing. I only needed a correction and not changing my face and that's exactly dr.Alhan delivered. To have a detailed explanation about my surgery is not helpful, because everybody is differed, with different needs and even expectations. I can tell that Dr. Burak will meet all these. Your nose will be perfect after, no matter what you were looking for. And I was looking for natural and classy. The doctor explained all the surgery details from our first virtual appointment till the end. Keep in mind I flew from Canada to meet him. The heeling process is also quite personal. however, is not a really difficult one. I didn't have a major swelling on my face, yes some bruises but not drastically. I did, still do have my nose swollen. Not as after a fight, but not at the final stage as I mention. Be patient, follow the doctor instructions and all will be great. Dr.Alhan knows what he is doing, trust him and all will be fine. Highly recommend it. The care during and after the surgery, transportation and hospitalization were taking care of. I had my virtual 1 month follow up and will probably have more. Dr.Alhan is there, answering patiently to all my questions. I am very happy with my decision and my results.
