it’s hard to tell by just looking at these photos. It doesn’t seem like you are biting all the way in these photos and it also looks like that you a deep bite with little to no room between upper and lower arches. This puts you at risk of having your veneers break or pop off. Also teeth that are too tilted or rotated are much harder to correct them with veneers as they would need to be shaved down a lot and may need root canals etc. I truly believe that orthodontic treatment is the best treatment option for you. crown process involves shaving down your tooth structure and can make the teeth sore and sensitive. Also the gum area can become sore either because it was scratched up during the process or the dentist has to adjust bone level around the tooth. Also the gum typically won’t heal and go back to normal until the final crowns have been delivered. I typically rec over the counter pain meds and salt water rinse still the whole process is fully finished. If you have sharp lingering pain when you drink something hot or cold let your dentist know as that could be signs of you possibly needing a root canal. Good luck. Dr.M

it’s hard to tell you what’s causing you the pain without an X-ray or an examination. Root canals can and do fail and can cause an abscess formation that is basically a fluid sac of infection putting pressure on the surrounding area and causing pain.  Go see a dentist and see what’s going on. As far as the pain being worse at night, there are few theories such as body position, increased blood flow/pressure, higher carbon dioxide levels, body temperature changes but in my opinion the most factor is fewer distractions. it will not recover on its own. The adjacent teeth may tilt/shift and fill in the gap a bit but you would need implant, bridge or a removable appliance to properly replace that tooth.

unfortunately that will be a NO! Your extracted tooth no longer have the live tissues to allow it to adhere to your body. Implants will be your only option.
