I will go in On March 2nd and I'm nervous. I'm also writing a review for the lipo. I'm 47 and my implants were to big when I got them 15 years ago and I was in a lot of pain back then because of the size of the implant. Now I'm going in for smaller implants and using the new ultra high profile implants per my doctors recommendation. I will post pics after. We are doing a lift and making my nipple smaller too. I'm currently a size 12 and a 38 E. My breasts sag. My doctor will have to make my pocket smaller and that is supposed to cause me the most pain. Again....extremely nervous. Updated on 2 Mar 2016: Here are my before photos. Nervous about tomorrow but really trust Dr. Dubin and his staff. Staying 2 nights at Recovery Retreat in Costa Mesa. Will try to post tomorrow if I'm able. I'm also having lipo on bra line fat, flanks and stomach. Updated on 3 Mar 2016: Breast lift and smaller implant exchange has not been that painful at all. A little burning sensation where sutures are but if wore off. Mostly discomfort. The doctor had to close my breast pocket because I was getting a smaller implant and that is what causes the most pain. I'm staying at an aftercare home which has been a huge help. I strongly recommend an electric recliner to sleep in. I bought a lazy boy for $700 bucks off of the floor. A smaller one. Managing pain with Percocet and Valium. Using ambien to sleep. Lipo is uncomfortable feels like soreness from a workout...a hard workout and lots of oozing. Everything is tolerable. I don't know how much fat was sucked out but will find out today at my post opp visit and post. Lots of swelling and bruising which is normal. Updated on 4 Mar 2016: I absolutely love my breasts...I hope I love them this much when swelling goes down. Lots and lots of bruising along with swelling for lipo as expected. I took my first shower today and with the breast lift and implant exchange getting the spanx/compression garment back on was not easier. My husband was zero help. Ladies if you are doing lipo and breasts together call a girlfriend to help you shower if your husband is a knuckle dragger. I will post pics in a couple weeks. I anticipate still being bruised and semi swollen. Lipo or breasts by themselves would have been a much simpler process. Together it's a bit of a rough process. The dr put in 375 cc ultra high profile implants and took out 2.5 liters of fat from abs, flanks and stomach. Updated on 9 Mar 2016: Not a lot of pain with the lift and revision. The discomfort comes from the Dr. Having to close the breast cavity to fit around my smaller implants.
Very nervous but feel comfortable with Dr. Dubin In Newport Beach. He was referred to me by a friend. I will post before and afters and report in on pain and after care. I am currently 47 years old and a size 12 and workout a lot. I have always had flanks even when I'm thinner along with back fat. I used to be able to lose my stomach weight but that's not budging lately either. I'm expecting some substantial pain. Updated on 2 Mar 2016: I go in tomorrow and am nervous but I really trust Dr. Dubin and his staff. Not sure if I will be able to post tomorrow but will try. I'm going to stay at Recovery Retreat for 2 nights when I'm done since I am having this procedure along with a breast lift, new smaller ultra high profile implants and the breast pocket closure. Will keep you posted. Updated on 3 Mar 2016: I may have completely freaked myself out on how much pian there was going to be but for me it was mostly discomfort from the swelling as I had my abdominals, back and flanks done. I don't know how much was sucked out yet. I will find out today and report in after my post opp visit. There is a lot of oozing but that's normal and swelling. I have not been unwrapped to see bruising but I'm certain it must be significant. My breast lift would be causing me very little but he had to close my breast pocket to put in smaller implants and even that is manageable. Best way to manage is to sleep in a recliner or hospital bed and continue with pain meds. I'm happy that I have an after care house that I am at. I am managing pain with Percocet and Valium and using ambien to sleep. Will post again later after I know how much fat was sucked out. Also don't freak out if your bigger when you get out of the surgery. Your just swollen. Updated on 4 Mar 2016: Lots and lots of bruising along with swelling for lipo as expected. Updated on 6 Mar 2016: Make sure you buy a compression garment 1 to 2 sizes larger than what you need. They are torture. Don't eat a smidge of salt either. I'm fine with it every where except when it goes up around my back fat. Below is one 4 day post opp picture. I'm bigger now than before due to swelling. What have I done.... Updated on 6 Mar 2016: I'm 4 days post opp... What have I done??? I took my garment off and I'm bigger than I was before. Dr said he took 2.5 liters of fat out which is only 5 pounds. If it was 2.5 liters total then it is 5 pounds of blood/fat/solution injected for lipo. If that is the case I just don't know if this will all even be worth it. I'm huge after 4 days... Also I am super regular and haven't gone to the bathroom since day before surgery.
After reviewing your photos, I do believe you would be a great candidate for an open rhinoplasty. I would also consider a chin implant and submental liposuction for improved profile aesthetics.
Thank you for your question. Yes, from my experience your surgeon should have no problem using the areolar approach for your silicone breast augmentation.
Thank you for your question. After reviewing your photos I believe you would be a great candidate for an open rhinoplasty. You will achieve substantial improvement to your nose by this procedure. As far as breastfeeding goes you are correct in that you do need to wait at least 6 weeks once you have finished breast feeding in order to proceed with surgery.
Thank you for your question. After looking at your photo it does look like the shape and size of your belly button will remain the way they are. As far as the redness that should still subside within the next few months.
Thank you for your question. Based on the photos that you have submitted it does look like you are most likely developing a capsule due to the elevated position of the implant. The key to determining a breast capsule would be based on palpitation of the breast which I would recommend consulting your physician so he can make that determination.
