Great atmosphere. Amazing friendly staff as always!! Constantly keeping me encouraged even through a VERY stubborn space in the front. The office as a whole is very efficient and pleasant. It’s incredible how far my smile has come in just one year!
@merebear1 you bring up a really great point here. Our teeth may look different depending on the angle you view them from. As an orthodontist, every patient that comes to my office gets a full evaluation that include x-rays and 10 photos to evaluate their teeth from all angles in three dimensions. Without this in-depth evaluation it can be hard for us to visualize all discrepancies in tooth position. Most people only see themselves from straight-on or slightly to the side and sometimes cannot appreciate certain discrepancies in their tooth alignment until these detailed records are taken and shown to them. From the pictures you've taken I agree that your teeth do angle slightly backward and that one of your front two teeth is slightly longer than the other. Sometimes discrepancies in tooth length - like with your two front teeth - can be improved by re-shaping but remember, this is a permanent removal of tooth structure. These front teeth can also be moved via orthodontics. For the teeth that tip in, orthodontic treatment is really the ideal solution. My opinion would be to visit a local American Association of Orthodontics accredited orthodontist for a thorough evaluation of your particular concerns and ask the same questions you've asked here. They will surely be able to give you great advice to make your teeth as straight as you want them - from all angles!
