I have been a plastic surgery nurse for 2 years. In those two years I have learned a few rules on how to pick a good plastic surgeon. 1. Good communication skills. It is important to pick a surgeon who is able to listen to your concerns and understand/visualize your goals. It is also important that the surgeon has the ability to voice their concerns using their experience and technical expertise. 2. Time. It is important to chose someone who is willing to take their time during your consult as well as in the operating room. The best patient results come from surgeons who take their time. 3. Pick someone who is a perfectionist and is committed to doing the job right. Dr. Blumenhauer incorporates all of the aforementioned rules in his practice. It is clear he cares about his patients. I recently had lipo 360 with Dr. Blumenhauer after two of my friends recommended him. After years of feeling self conscious about the extra fat deposits in my inner thighs and knees I am finally able to walk around confidently in a skirt. I can honestly say this has been one of the best life decisions I have made. My results are excellent and Dr. Blumenhauer made this process a breeze.
