Now I think I may have been cheated, he just wanted to get his $256 and the 20 units he injected were not nearly enough to get &quot;rid&quot; of the moderate/severe &quot;11's&quot; on my forehead. I would recommend a neurotoxin injection (Botox), which will help soften and prevent wrinkles (crow's feet and inferior eyelids). The fine&nbsp;lines (tear troughs) can be treated with filler and&nbsp;microneedling with platelet-rich plasma (PRP), if you want to avoid laser resurfacing.&nbsp;

I’m 48 years old. I get Botox for crows feet and also had filler in the apples of my cheeks. I have a history of melasma but seem to have that fairly under control. Fraxel seems to worsen my melasma so I would like to avoid that.

What treatment would you recommend for fine lines and wrinkled skin under my eyes, in my tear duct area and my upper eyelids?

A chin augmentation, as well as filler would mostly give you the results you are looking for. I would recommend having a cosmetic consultation with a board-certified dermatologist and a plastic surgeon&nbsp;to evaluate in-person.

I would actually recommend the TheraClear treatment, which is a mild intense pulsed light. TheraClear is specific for acne. What I have found, acne scars respond best to microneedling, especially microneedling with PRP.&nbsp;

I am having whiteheads and acne and thinking to do IPL treatment. Does it help to remove acne scars and whiteheads or shall iIjust do other facial treatments?

IPL is not the same as BBL, but it is similar. I would recommend a pulsed dye laser (PDL) for redness (rosacea) and I believe the best treatment for enlarged pores is microneedling.&nbsp;

Can the Laser Genesis be combined with IPL ? Should these treatments be spaced apart? Is IPL the same thing as BBL? The two main issues I would like to combat are my redness and enlarged pores. I have recent scarring from a cystic acne outbreak also. My overall goal is to not have to layer on makeup, which I feel makes me look older and to have some confidence in my skin again. I recommend applying Retin-A and then moisturizer. If possible, try to allow 15-30 minutes between washing face and applying Retin-A.&nbsp;

The Retin-A package insert instructs patients to allow 15-30 mins between washing face and applying the cream. Due to dryness/irritation caused by the product, I would like to use a moisturizer in addition at some point in my nightly skincare routine, so long as doing so would not minimize the anti-aging effects of the Retin-A. Is it acceptable to introduce a moisturizer into a Retin-A regimen, and, if so, in what sequence should each product be applied, subsequent to face-washing?

Over-the-counter wart remover and a salicylic peel both contain salicylic acid, but the over-the-counter wart remover may have specific ingredients that targets warts,&nbsp;while a salicylic peel has specific ingredients that can be used on the face. I recommend following the instructions of each product.

What is the difference between a salicylic facial peel and over the counter wart remover of roughly the same strength? (20% and 17% respectively.) The wart remover says it should not be used on the face or be used for acne. Aren't they the same product?
