Hi I Jones, The answer to your question simply lies in a proper consultation with your doctor so you can express your wishes. Your eyebrows are lower after the forehead treatment is because your forehead muscles relax and lift the eyebrows less. Yes, you can have browse lift and still treat your forehead, it's all about planning. Regards,
Hi, This is a common questions many clients ask. With the possibility that both traditional liposuction and VASER can now be done under tumescent anaesthesia, it would seem that there is no difference between both methods. However, VASER is better because 1. It selectively targets the fat cells and spares other structures such as nerves and vessels. This minimises trauma from liposuction and enhances quicker recovery. 2. VASER has some skin tightening effect so enhances skin retraction after treatment. 3. VASER allows you to work closely near the muscle and achieve better sculpting. 4. For gynaecomastia ultrasonic lipo (VASER) achieves better glandular tissue removal.
Hi Gracie505, Small chin dimple is usually caused by action of the muscle on the chin. In many people, the muscles on the left and right meet in the middle with little on no gap between them. As a normal variation, the muscle may not touch in the middle, this often leads to chin dimple which tends to become deeper with age because the chin muscle is one of the few muscles that tend to increase in bulk with age instead of shrinking. Botox is a simple and effective treatment for chin dimple but it is important you find an experienced practitioner who can precisely deliver the injection where it is needed.
Restylane skinboosters is very good for hand rejuvenation but having carried out hand rejuvenation using Restylane Skinboosters, Radiesse and autologous fat transfer. Fat grafting is natural and last longer , the only limitation is whether you have enough fat. But really you do not need a lot of fat for hand rejuvenation. Another plus for hand revitalisation with fat is that you can also put some in the palms.
Dear Botoxhappy, You should expect to still be able to smile as other muscles take part in smiling. You have raised a question that many clients are often concerned about. Was your desire to have much less wrinkling as possible when you smile or be 'frozen' which may not be ideal. There are a few things to consider. First is what the skin of the eye area looked like before treatment - did you have just only dynamic crinkling (that is wrinkles when you smile) or you also had static wrinkles (that is permanent wrinkles). If you had static wrinkles before treatment, then this suggests you also have lost some volume or the elasticity of the skin is very reduced. If you had static wrinkles, then you may need additional treatment to replace volume. I often use fillers (or fat if my client prefers a more natural volume replacement). I have also found gold thread implant to be good at reinforcing the skin and make it thicker so it wrinkles less with smiling. Secondly, did you ask your practitioner for a subtle improvement or requested the crow's feet to be frozen. Some clients initially request a 'little' treatment if they are unsure what the result will be. In this case, they can ask for a 'top-up' if agreed with the practitioner during the initial consultation. Lastly, there are two muscles responsible for crow's feet. Most of the treatment focuses on the main one but in cases where the crow's are extended I cautiously inject the second one to cause more relaxation of the crow's. Regards,
